just got back from having lunch with fluffypet.
she is just as she is on the boards, and omg yes she is real, i had my arms around her twice lol

After lunch i drove a few hours to a suburban train station and picked up DCNovice.  We went out to supper and had Greek stuff.  Then we talked for a couple more hours.
 
Correct that....He listened - i talked and talked and talked and talked.  Let me tell you DC is a great listener!

[Just a suggestion to the computer mapping programmers...double the travel time after 3pm on certain routes.  It took 3 hours for a trip that was supposed to be 1 1/2 hours.]

I like reading that people actually meet and have good meals.

Nothing better than good company with a good meal. (The meals were good, right? [:)] )

And fluffy, I'll add a rant about computer mapping programmers: Sometimes they give you a route that is more out of the way then you really need to go. I looked up directions to somewhere in Florida, then I asked my grandmother, she laughed. The directions the website gave had me going the ass backwards way around, full of turns and whatnot, when one street woulda taken me straight there.

Consider yourselves very lucky people. all I seem to contact here are either fakes/scammers or the ocassional other person like me who is on the brink of giving it all up because of the aofrementioned fakes/scammers....oh well, life goes on.

Even so, it would really make my dayd if they started some kind of verification process here, that way at least you would know the person on the other end of the message is really who they say they are even though they can still be a faker/scammer it will seriously cut down on fakes and scammers are less likely to pay evne a few dollars to verify their details and are more likely to move onto a different site.

Just a thought.

I look for friends first, and if anything more develops, cool, if only a friendship develops that's cool too.  I have a feeling too many people think this site is where they will find their O/one, spouse, or life partner. And yes, it has happened for some.   Not everyone here is a fake or scammer.  It just takes some common sense to weed out the users/fakes/scammers, etc.

I've also found that the majority of the people in the forums are real, have real brains, and real thoughts.  I might not agree with everything they post, and they don't agree with some of my posts, but that's life. 

Even on the pay sites there are people of questionable motives
