I know quite a few people who live without faith...yup it's possible but their lives are not ones I would want to share.

I know quite a few people who live without religion... (not so sure about faith)... but most of them are far better people than most of the religious nutcases I've had the displeasure to have had run ins with...

As I've said before... when you base your life around works of fiction, you are deliberately doing harm to your perception of reality. Having a good healthy sense of reality...which can be somewhat important... is needed in order to keep from being taken advantage of... and ripped off by others who pass themselves off as voices for the "higher authority" I mentioned before.

To what extent do you think this is true? Can you live a life without faith?

I hesitate to be so absolute, but to be honest; not at all.

I have placed faith in many things that proved to be faulty; including myself, at times. Much of which was the results of conditioning that began as a child, and I reinforced as an adult, until it all started falling apart and I was forced to reevaluate my understanding of certain concepts; such as love, marriage, and ‘good’ parenting.

For me, it has had a lot to do with recognizing the rhythms in life, and accepting the truth in my own existence.

The rhythms are life’s truths, and give all things purpose. No, I could not live without it.
