I've been told by more than a few women who posted profiles on collarme that they sometimes receive about 100 messages a day... especially the ones who post nude or sexually suggestive in any way pictures of themselves. Is this really true? If so, with that kind of ratio of dom men to submissive women on here, what are the chances of every actually connecting with someone? Seems kind of daunting/pointless...

I don't know that it is 100, but yes, women on here are swamped with messages. And yes that does make it a daunting task to get noticed, but if you do a search in the Ask a Mistress section, there have been many threads where the women explain what it takes to be noticed. Do some studying and follow the advice given and you should at least increase your chances of being read and considered rather than just deleted.

1) Yes, they do.

2) It goes down a lot after they are off the new users list.

3) 99% of those messages are extremely lame.

The number of men who are actually decent guys looking for relationships is about the same as women who are looking for relationships.  If you just look at active profiles, there are far more men than women.  But that is not an important statistic.  What matters is this: how many times a week does a woman get an email that makes her say, "Wow, I might really enjoy meeting this guy"?  Answer: not very often.  Maybe not at all in a week, despite a full inbox.

So write decent, approachable emails to women you are interested in.  You'll stand out.

yes, I used to get a hundred a day... when I changed my profile a bit, I stared getting a whole lot fewer replies.

I can see getting  100 for sure...I am older. & bigger..
which is often not the criteria for
wanna bes or DO-ME's..and may not be the main preference for some
 
and I got about 40+ a day to start........to 20  to about 10 now...
 
I am sure if I had my large cleavage on it would be twice  that BUT
I am a whole woman..and don't wish to be in a tit catologue
and there was not place to indicate IQ

Some love to complain about it. If it bothered them that much, they could use the spam filter to not get 100 messages a day.

well i would imagine on here , nude photos would generate more of a response..but like most of us that have been on here a while...i would roughly estimate that only 5 percent of the ones that respond to me are trully D's for one thing and the ones that are , they are just as frustrated as i am //lol heres to hoping for the pearl in the ocean!...

I don't get 100 a day but I do get ALOT.

Its alot of skipping over those who don't read profiles, don't interest me, who scare me (lol), and then sifting though the rest. I reply back to maybe 1 or 2 out of every 20 or so and usually drop most by the 3-4 email.

Ahhh....picky slave syndrome.... wonder if thats contagious?

I get 20-40 and I don't "hustle" for them. Or have any cleavage...and no I'm not turning around. Lol. Most are spam. I've probably met 5-10 really awesome people, had about 20 worthwhile conversations and had 2 translate to real life awesomeness. I am new, though.

When I first started, I got vast amounts. Now I am down to 5 or 6 a week.

I think the major drop is due to a few things, mostly that I don't have a clear face picture up and that I have pretty much laid out what I want in my profile.

I still get the one liners, but the number has dropped dramatically.

Nude photos will get a lot more initial interest, but stop to consider if a) this person is real b) is this person looking for a relationship and c) would I really want to be with someone that has nude photos on the internet?

Your answers to these questions could be different than mine, and that is fine. Just be aware of what you're fishing for when you toss your bait out.

Not me I have my spam filter set and I don't put up revealing pictures of myself. So I think that cuts down on a lot of the messages.

Just a few one liners, a couple of possible maybes. Got one guy saved for a friend who went thru what I am going thru now. The guys wanting to play with my hairy ass (they actually said that!) got blocked. My ass is fat, not hairy...[:D]

I'm feeling a bit snarky at the moment, so I'll just say this reminds me of the women who complain about being too thin("Oh my this would never fit me!"), too pretty ("They never really look at me!") and too rich ("I just don't have anything to do, and I don't want to go get a job!").

Makes me wanna smack someone.

I would guess that newer profiles of young, attractive, available subs could pull around that for a day or two...maybe.

You're right. I was just trying to illustrate my point, but that is something that happens quite a bit.

Perhaps I would have been better using a different example.

Maybe not quite 100, but I definitely get plenty. Most of the messages I get are the "let me tell you how awesome I am and why you should submit to me even though I live 1,000 miles away and am old enough to be your father" type. It just doesn't seem like there's much local interest. At least not really anyone my type anyways.
