thetammyjo -> Valentine's Day Plans? (2/10/2006 9:16:22 AM)

How many of us have made plans all ready?

I have and again because I'm poly I had to plan a bit carefully -- its also on a Tuesday so that changed things.

Fox can't get lunch time off of work and I don't want him given up a half day of work so he is taking me to a movie Tuesday evening. We'll probably see "Hoodwinked" cause it seems like a fun movie and on Valentine's Day I don't want anything that will make either of us cry or be upset in any way. Plus Fox is a furry so he's all into talking animals.

Tom has made reservations for a restaurant I like and we'll go there for dinner (he's very resistance to us doing things as a "family" on Valentine's Day and we are all cool with respecting his feelings).

I ordered us an ice cream cake that we will all share after the movie.

Then I'll probably have sex with both of them but not at the same time -- darn, that's one thing they aren't cool with. (more Tom than Fox, my slave would be happy to pleasure me with another man or better yet perform with another man for my amusement). This is assuming I'm not too tired from all the food and "celebrating".

I got them each cards and a box of chocolates with peanut butter filling. Tom gets a book he's been wanting and I got Fox a porn movie (anime, I think he'll hate parts of it and really like other parts but he can say he owns an anime porno now).

So how are you celebrating, if you do?

Is it as mundane or vanilla as my plans?

Since I can only be with one of my partners this year, we're just getting together, ordering in Chinese and watching movies at home. I'll make sweet phone calls to my other partners and then probably do fun kinky sex stuff until bedtime.

Any particular reason?

I'm getting the NV a blockbuster gift card, Boston two pairs of satin boxers, and DCS pictures of us in frames.

There's deep intimacy in the quiet boring times together :)

Well since I am married to my "Master" and have been for 21 yrs. Valentine's day is just like anyother day. I hate getting flowers on special occasions and I don't like sweets. I am hoping he won't be to tired or have any friends over and we can have a long session of play. I already bought the champange so I'm hoping he'll get the message. The only thing is, we always have people that show up at our house who do not call first. I guess they think we are the party house.
Also my mom died 11 yrs ago from cancer Feb 10th (i know it's been awhile but still) and it's kinda lonley for me. I still miss her very much. Her funeral was on Feb 14th.

So I think I will have a very vanilla Feb 14th.

So Tammyjo enjoy sounds like you will have fun :)

A good way for him to get the message is for you to write down what you want and tape it to the bathroom mirror.

Or just ask for it. That way you will lower the chances of disappointment and allow him to prepare.

If people show up, keep the door locked and put a note on the door saying "House Closed for Show of Affection. Please come back another day."

plans include, but are not limited to:

"Rasul" at the spa followed by stone massage
strolling past and browsing through interesting little shops while the gondolas float by in the canal
a fabulous Hungarian/Italian meal
3rd row center to hear "The Bitch is Back" performed by the original artist
a leisurely drive across one of the most beautiful states in the country
best of all, THE most precious of plans is spending time with each other laughing and loving and enjoying the life we share together!!!

perverseangelic -> RE: Valentine's Day Plans? (2/10/2006 10:11:27 AM)

We don't really do Valentines day over here, mostly becase we've both had it be such a negative experience in the past.

We exchagned gifts in advance, because we wanted an excuse to give them, but don't like to wait. He got Mage Knight figures and I got a beautiful little knife.

I work Valentine's day itself, and he has class untill 7, so we probably won't do much that day. Maybe break in the new knife :)

MsSonnetMarwood -> RE: Valentine's Day Plans? (2/10/2006 10:15:11 AM)

LOL Spending it with my true love, i.e. in class.

IronBear -> RE: Valentine's Day Plans? (2/10/2006 11:36:45 AM)

I though about getting into '30's gear, breaking out the old tommy guns and have a St Valantines Day Massacre ~~~>>>> Sags, prawns and chops on the BBQ.. (The way I cook meat it is a chared massacre!)

I think he likes the quiet romantic times of just him and I.

We do lots of of romantic things like celebrate all these minor anniversaries and go to B&Bs together. It also gives Fox a nice break to be alone in the house I think.

I try to make sure all my partners get the time and attention they need so if Tom needs Valentine's dinner with only me I can do that -- we have lots of "family" meals all the time both at home and outside of it.

NakedOnMyChain -> RE: Valentine's Day Plans? (2/10/2006 1:41:53 PM)

I would like to take this opportunity to say I fucking hate V-day! LOL. It's too commercialized and I've spent too many years with shitty boyfriends.

With that said, this year will be better. Due to my disgust with all that is mushy and candy-coated I will be throwing my annual "My Bloody Valentine" party tonight, where everyone has to dress up as their favorite horror figure. Bleeding black heart decorations? Gotta love it. It was fun last year, but there wasn't quite enough space (tiny, tiny, evil little house). With the new, much bigger apartment things ought to go a little more smoothly. This party shouldn't involve any couch wrestling that isn't sexual. You how how it goes. Hey, I might even end up mooning my neighbors again. It didn't take any alcohol last time, so this time shouldn't be much different. [:D]

As for the day itself, I'm making a nice dinner for Ty and we're staying in and cuddling up. Lobster, King Crab, and NY Strip. Works for me. You know how they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Screw that. The way to my heart and into my pants is through my stomach.

Here's wishing you all the mushiest, happiest, most disgusting Valentine's Day you could hope for! <Tossing conversation hearts that say "Lick Me... No, Not Quite Like That....Lower" at everyone> MWAH![sm=kiss.gif]

Edited to add: IronBear's got the right idea. Blood and gore. That's what Valentine's Day is really all about. Mwahahaha.

It will definately be a strange V-Day this year. The then Dom/now Roomie will spend the day and evening working either at home or at the studio or both till 11:00 PM or so...make it downstairs onto the couch in my office long enough to turn the tv on and fall asleep. Routine does have advantages sometimes.

Celebrating an early Valentine's Day Sunday with my daughter. Divorce leads to conveniently moving holidays to suit visitation schedules. Got her a couple gifts and will buy a cake along with snuggling on the couch and watching movies.

Going out this afternoon to buy a card to mail off to the current Dom in question so he will get that by Tuesday.

Doesn't get more vanilla or boring than this! LOL Hope you all enjoy a special day with the people nearest and dearest to your heart!!!!

I'll be testing the fresh powder on the steepest slopes of Mt. Hood. And hopefully I'll be able to psyche my friend up enough in order to change her mind about staying with the ''Bunny runs'' all day - It's time to graduate, fall down a little more, get back up and smile.
