The Scene does not yet its objective dictionary yet. Even if I had an answer, it might well not be his answer. Really the only way to know for sure is to ask him.

[evil grin] I can visualize a scene where I strip the clothes of some submissive, leave the clothes lying on the street and spirit her away to some heavenly dungeon where she's strapped on a Sybian sent on "roto rooter."

Now "Raptor Dominant" calls to mind an equally fun scene but one that's a lot more messy and leaves more than clothes in the street.

My guess is that it's someong who loves the seduction and making someone else drunk on passion.

Yep, you better ask him because it sounds like just another version of Dom/mes and their self-proclaimed titles. Still, I can't help wondering if he also has one of those profiles full of poetically flowery D/s theory - which is fine if that's what you relate to....

Then again, it can also be said that those who phrase their words in a confusing manner (assuming "rapture dom" isn't the half of it) require a "bit of smoke" to hide their true selves, too! Some might see that as a red flag....

Possibilities are endless, ask him! lol And it mightn't hurt to mention that, so far, no-one else has heard of what he claims to be.... *wink*

Focus.

Wow, I haven't heard that term used for a very long time. Used to be quite a popular terminolgy in the SF area so maybe it's a West Coast thing. I know several QSM classes were held by SOJ on the subject several years ago. Generally, it's a Dominant who controls by keeping the submissive in a perpetual oragasmic state during a scene. Bringing them to the edge, refusing to push them over so they go back down, then bringing them up again.. wash, rinse, repeat. Often times they will bring a submissive to tears and begging seems to be a big turn on for them.

Think emotional roller coaster which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your mindset.

I'm glad to hear that Karen has continued in running her school/bookstore. It's a valuable resource for the San Francisco area.

I haven't lived in SF for 10 years, so don't know if the bookstore is still up and running, but I certainly hope so. I do know that SOJ still maintains their booths at Folsom and when I was last there they still had the literature for the bookstore at their stand, but even that was about 6 years ago. We're planning Folsom this year, so I'll have to check it out. Last I heard, Karen had turned it over to the SOJ and the bookstore itself was run by committee via yearly elections. However, I'm out of touch now, so don't really know what's going on in my old hometown.

Now, of course, I'm curious. ::chuckles:: Time to make some phone calls.

Sounds to Me like putting the XE on the end of "Sentra" In other words, making up a bunch of crap to make themselves sounds official. The Dominant XE SE XLR 5.4L Rapture Model 101.

I guess while we are looking for us to add things to make us sound more important than we really are, I am a Coca Cola Whips Floggers Molson Canadian Cuffs Dominant v.2.08.01a rev. C This model, incidentally, comes with the 4.9L OHV V8 PFI and one pair of complimentary jeans. I would say I would throw in a shirt, but I keep using them to mop up My oil leaks.

Well if it's Raptur.........

He either is unable to spell rapture or he is unable to spell raptor.

Two entirely unlike notions conceptually.

Yeah, I am with the gang, ask...

Mine too. Reminds me of the debate they had in Texas about whether to put a roof on the stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play. In the end they decided not to, because the roof might get in the way if the Rapture happened to occur during a Cowboys game.

(Of course, that has to be apocryphal, because I've heard another version of the same story: they left the roof off so that God can watch the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.)

You goof!

One of my fondest memories was dancing on the 50 yard line of the Astrodome...during a hurricaine. What can I say even weather can't stop Texas football.!!

People entitle themselves with all kinds of wonderful, mystical, magical names. Usually it's what they wish they were, not necessarily what they really are.

Hell, I call myself windchymes, but I don't hang from trees and tinkle into the wind. Then again.....might be fun...
