Is that the one with the robot that stands still by the saucer? With the thing that moves back and forth where his eyes should be? Damn, i had nightmares of that dude following me when i was a little kid. One of those "real" nightmares. Yikes! st50

I saw the film, for the first time, at a full-sized single-screen theatre in Independence, MO, just a few years ago. It was the highlight of a science fiction film festival, and they had the Army armoured vehicles out in front, shooting them off with smoky blanks, and a full size Gort. After, there was a panel dicussion that included Billy Gray. Just thinking about it again brings a smile to my face. Thanks. [:)]

that's the one, st.. it's a classic gotta love his reception (BAM) excellent use of film, one of my all time favorites for it's many levels, and a young patricia neal

He he he... one of my favorite scenes in that film. [:D] A campy bit of a stinker, but still a heck of alot of fun to watch.
