Ladylocks -> Any comfortable longer term gags (6/8/2009 10:54:15 PM)

All the gags out there seem like they would be torture to wear for more then an hour or so. It would be nice to have a gag shaped like sucking your thumb but slightly wider. Something I can put on my pet to wear all day if I like. Pin his tongue down to ensure speech is unintelligible and muffled but can be worn for many hours without a sore mouth. Ideally it would have a hole through the middle for breathing and accepting liquids through a straw. This kind of design would allow the wearer to swallow because you can swallow while sucking your thumb. I would prefer to not have my pet drooling all over me and the floor. [8|]

i would say no...there isn't a gag made that can support the type of speech restriction you seek yet still wish to tube feed your pet or the use of a straw. If you really wish to keep him/her quiet and if you don't mind using your hands once in awhile, clamp a hand over the mouth for a period of time and use a penis gag for the times your hand/hands wouldn't be in use.The hands are practical for say feeding and drink time and would give you a break as well.

I like the idea. It shouldn't be hard to do - just a simple clamp that is applied over the tongue and under the chin, with the top part of the clamp as you described. Just try it with your thumb under your chin and your forefinger over your tongue - it doesn't take much pressure to hold the tongue down. Add a strap that fastens in the back, and it should be pretty secure.

Be careful you don't break anything fragile from squeezing the mouth like that.

Have you considered a muzzle, like the one at http://www.madame-s.com/HT013.html ?

I own the version with the padded mouthpiece.  One reason why I strongly recommend it is because nothing goes inside the mouth.  (And to me, that guarantees no chance of a gag reflex.)  Instead, the harness holds the mouth firmly closed, while pressing a padded piece of leather against the mouth.  (The analogy I use is:  Imagine a really strong person holding his leather-gloved hand over your mouth.)

Also regarding safety (something you always have to think about, with gags), it is possible to breathe through the mouth, if needed.  It's a bit difficult (I have to "smile", so to speak, to breathe.) but it is possible, so even if something should happen to stop up your nose, you're still good.

I have worn inflatable gag with a breathing tube for 24 hrs straigt.  Was feed through the breathing tube. It does put noticable pressure on the front teeth after about 6-8 hrs.  Sports tooth guard works to eliminate that problem.

For endurance like 8-24 hrs I would  keep the gag deflated most of the time, occationally inflating it to various degree.

I have a breahable ball gag, its a silicone ball shape with a hole thru it,  and comes with either nylon straps(slideable  or leather with buckle. Oh and the ball is in red or black
I havent added it to the store yet, but I have a pic of it to show you what its like. As far as wearing it long term, its soft, silicone and comfortable, the breathing hole is big enough for a straw or tube.
Here it is http://www.lucylasticslair.com/special/breathablesilicon.jpg
Nylon is 32.99 and leather is 46.99
If you are interested, give me a shout on the other side.

bindable -> RE: Any comfortable longer term gags (6/10/2009 10:03:03 PM)

I would suggest a silicon penis gag with a breathing tube.  I cant immediately recall where i have seen one, but i'm sure it exists or could be fabricated at home with little trouble.
generally i think the issue is not the tongue or the ability to swallow (after all, a bit of drool is great at the right times), but the stress the gag places on the back of the jaw.  i have to admit that i haven't found a gag itself that alleviates this problem as well as simply binding the mouth shut.
