I tend to lean towards submissives that are shy, but willing. I also don't like loud, abrasive, brash, rude, attention hogs, etc. I am more likely to get along well with a shy person than others. A matter of odds for me. Apparently in that situation opposites do attract. I also get the feeling of vulnerability from shy people as was mentioned earlier. Being so shy that it's like pulling teeth to have a conversation with that person is not appealing, however. To clarify, being shy does not guarantee the person is a lady or gentleman. And many have mastered being outgoing and respectable. lol
