Oh, and something I've discovered through trial and error......the softer and fluffier it is, the more it leaves fuzz danglies. We use Scott (septic safe and not the softest but hey, I really don't think my bits know the difference, we are not talking thread count here) and it doesn't pill at all.

just use unprocessed tree bark..
It works for me

Scott tissue is supposed to be the safest for septic tanks..

LaTigresse -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 11:21:18 AM)

Which is why we use it.

Mezrem -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 11:39:13 AM)

pahunkboy -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 1:40:21 PM)

toilet paper HAS gotten thinner.   Lets examine it.   It requires a certain amount bulk- weight- strength to amplly do the task.

So thinner is not cheaper as you have to use more.     Consider that when the finger touches feces it take MORE soap and hot water to clean the hands.  So you save a penny on toilet paper- but use a dime up and soap and water.

Peeing - I dont bother washing my hands.  But poop is another story!!!!!

And dont you dare- listen up friend!!     Be mindful of anything you flush. I dont flush q-tips- paper towels etc.

On an amusing note...   a few years ago, I popped alot of codeine type pills in a week.  Well I got constipated.  So I took a laxative.
Now just because I wanted a buzz for those pills- the massive poop clogged the toilet so bad I had to call roto-rooter to put a snake down it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
True story.

At the old place- we had to replace the  sewer pipe from the house to the street. It cost several thousand to do so.   Most such pipes are clay and they sort of collapse over time.

So each item you flush -- add to the stress of this pipe.   If money is no object then go for it.  But if you don't want to replace the sewer pipe- (and possibly loose landscape over it)   then get yourself a garbage bin in the bathroom.

..... and  joking around here- it is way to risky for you to take any opiates- send them to my hosue and I will "recycle em"  ;-0 lol

I personally love the new 3-ply quilted Northern.  It would probably be death to a septic system, but for public sewer people, my ass just adores it.

I haven't noticed any shreddage, but I'm not looking closely, either [&:]

MistressRoxie -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 2:33:48 PM)

Flushable wipes aside, I like Cottonelle Ultra the best! Least amount of extra bits hanging around and it seems to do a better job cleaning things up down there than a lot of the others do as well.

SteelofUtah -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 3:08:51 PM)

Odd, the OP has yet to send me a picture so I can give her a more indepth answer.

I wonder do you think she's a fake?

Asherdelampyr -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 3:09:57 PM)

yeah
especially if there isnt a note on it

playfulotter -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 3:14:51 PM)

I have had the same experience as SteelofUtah....Cottenelle Ultra will not fall apart at all but actually is too thick..so back to regular Cottenelle...but really all you have to do is use a handheld mirror and check to see if there is any paper stuck to you..no big deal...

ShaharThorne -> RE: Really Wierd But...Best Toilet Paper? (6/9/2009 3:48:17 PM)

We're allowed to watch LaT's ass now? *grabs the video cam*

honey, if the clothes are sticking to the line, you need a new line--try shaving closer, better.
