I just got mine renewed in PA.   It is sure easier here then in IL.  I went early.   My old license had the old address, and the state issues a 2nd card to denote a new address.  ANyhow- it looks like a con when I whip out both items.

They also let you redo you pic here.  So- oddly enough I look younger this time then 4 years ago.   :-)

It literally takes me longer to buy a carton of milk then to do the renewal I just did.

Wow that explains why my Texas license has been expired since 2001. LOL

I don't have to get my license renewed for 2 more years.  Arkansas just made a new policy since the last time I renewed.  We aren't allowed to smile in the photo anymore!  Of course, mine always comes out looking horrible.  But now it'll look like a damn mugshot.

That is so they can map the points of your facial features.    They told me- "smile if you want".   In the 80s- in IL they would not let me wear tinted glasses.

The renewal here- no drive test.  no written test- no eye test.  send in the fee online- and go for the picture.  of course for new people the rig-a-marow is worse then in IL.

I sure dont miss the DMV in IL.   It takes a whole day to get thru the mess.
