ORIGINAL: Goddess2002 Just wondering really how prevalent full toilet slavery is among those engaging in BDSM? I notice almost every thread about it ultimately carries a few jokes...what I gather is that it's generally viewed as an embarrassement and not many people, even if they were into it on some level, wouldn't admit it. Is TS really as unpopular as I'm thinking? Depends on the social group you're in. As Michael pointed out, it's a closet inside the closet. There's always some of us who are content to be out of the closet (I still have an active interest in the "gold" side of things, but haven't been into the "brown" side for about a decade or so, and am open about both), but most prefer to stay in the closet when they are afraid of rejection. Just how many people are into it, is hard to tell. But it's clear there are more people that are into it than are "out" about it on CM. While I don't mind being on the receiving end of wet as a part of more or less equal footing sexual relationships, it's not a major interest. On the other end of it, however, it remains a significant interest from many different perspectives. Quite a wide range of those have been mentioned on the boards by various people. For instance, marking territory, taboos, humiliation, practical reasons (at least for the lads), or even baptism (for us religious types). Heck, it can even be used as an incremental approach to breaching an aversion to semen (there's nothing incremental about cumming, making it difficult to break down an aversion slowly, but wet sex can be made an incremental thing, and transitioning from the act of swallowing one bodily fluid to accepting another is a smaller gap than the alternative). As I have mentioned in an old thread, another of the things it can be used for, is as a means of internalizing the roles when doing objectification in a M/s-type relationship. The idea being that using a slave when it is convenient, in the same way one might use other items or facilities, is very profoundly expressed by using it as a toilet, particularly if one does not combine it with sexual activities or the like, and/or if one consistently uses "the closest toilet" whenever one needs to go. If you're into objectification and humiliation, it's also rather hot, but to internalize the mindset, it's important to make it a natural way to "go," rather than an erotic act or prelude to intimacy. Of course, accomplishing that mindset can be hot in itself for those who tick that way, so it's a bit of a paradox, I guess. Just pointing out that it's a significantly more diverse activity than one might at first consider. And, of course, more widespread than is immediately obvious on the boards. Still, gold is far more popular than brown, for many reasons. One of mine is that I like kissing on occasion. [:D] Health, al-Aswad.
