Well, could it be general anxiety ? Anxiety clouds perception, but it can be managed if acknowledged.

It's called, "TAKE THINGS SLOWER".

Amen to that!

I didn't start dating until later in life, when I really opened up emotionally. I was thrilled to run head-first into relationships with girls that at first were hot and extremely exciting, only to have them quickly fizzle into emotional dissapointment.

When I opened up and discovered my inner Dom, I learned that in relationships it's always best to TAKE THINGS SLOWER, because that seems to prevent most relationship problems from ever occurring.

~fast reply~

This may sound a little sharp, but before you even -think- about getting involved in another relationship, I think you -really- need to find a confidante, counselor, therapist, etc., to help you deal with the repeating patterns in your relationships that are unhealthy.

You've already figured out that your own behaviors are contributing to the difficulties in your relationships. The next step is to start the work, while NOT in a relationship, to keep you from ending up in that same place all over again.

I'm not being cruel or heartless when I say "Get thee to professional assistance before getting involved in another relationship."

years ago  friend told me its not the body, its the mind.  If you think your sexy, cool, and fun..then you will be..and the one man you want..is yours as long as you want him..and funny she never worried about her man..and he never worried about her.  That was 35 years ago and 4 kids later, and they still act like teanagers....lol
