The only sadistic part would be if she had to explain WHY she needed it. Even then, around here, people wearing collars as a fashion statement is pretty common.

Hi, Jeff----
I don't know that this will work but have you ever heard about the trick of putting stinky shoes in the freezer overnight to kill germs?  I wonder if that would work for a collar; am thinking why not.
Also multiple collars of the same sort makes sense.  :>

Wow.. never heard of that Davan but it's going in the freezer tonight. Plus, that opens up the opportunity to collar her with it tomorrow morning ... say... 5:30am-ish *laughs*

Oh dear god, am I turning into a sadist now? Or is that just a practical joke?

Since you say she is handy with creating things maybe she could line it with flannel which would be absorbant.

probably... and just to put the last nail in the coffin and prove I'm a service dom...

exactly as I was half-way through reading this she called out from the bedroom "Sir?". In super-domly fashion, I responded back, "On it mine."

(it's the "mine" on the end that tells you I'm a dom).

Then I scurried off to the kitchen to get her her hot coffee. Oh hey wait.. maybe she's an odalisque.

FR

For a leather cleaner, Farnam's Leather New is great, it is sold in a sprayer bottle that makes it more convenient than the glycerine paste saddle soaps in a tin.  Spray on, wipe off, and enjoy the unmistakable aroma of freshly polished leather.
I also use a neatsfoot oil conditioner to keep the leather soft and supple.  And in your case, allowing the neatsfoot oil to penetrate the leather will help keep it from being impregnated with less desirable oils from sweat.

I agree with lining the collar (though flannel might be too hot for hot flashes).

I've worn the same leather collar for almost three years and I've had great success with using a piece of an old cotton t-shirt in a matching color (cut so it covers to just inside the edge of the collar) and attaching it with Elmer's glue (or any kid-friendly glue- better for sensitive skin). Every time it gets wet for whatever reason, I swap out the lining.

Leather products we use for horse tack. Bick. Bick 1 for light colored leather, Bick 4 for dark colored. The 4 will darken a light leather. Available in your local tack shop or most online tack shops. Try www.statelinetack.com or www.rods.com, both excellent sources.
