I was recently kicked out of chat for speaking my point of view. its seems like i run into a lot of people who harp about of the first admendment but its only when it supports their cause. and we that backwards that one can not voice what he or she says with out booting or banning someone. even at events people can not keep an open mind about debating. if your dom or domme or even sub you should have reserve to be a person look at things with a open thought. If you do not like something just ignore it. Heres the point of my Post ( should we be allowed to speak as a sub or dom domme in any form or fashion we see fit even if it dose not agree with the masses. and how would you handle something if someone upset you with what they posted or type.....

I think everyone should be allowed to speak their mind...let's face it, I am not shy about doing so...no matter their orientation. Personally, if you were kicked out of a chat room because you disagreed with the majority, I would be thanking my lucky stars that they kicked you out. Ok I can field this one easily, as it is still fairly fresh in my mind. I tried to exert my Dominance and I got verbal slapped out. I got shy real quick and hid (bear dragged me back kicking and screaming, but assured me all was well). I realized where I was wrong and I will move on from there. Ya sure the others involved know they were a bit wrong to, but I can only control myself and bear, so there. You are respossible to one, you, and/or your owner, period.

If they feel you did not meet with what they envisioned for their room...they kick you out. Most online chatroom owner/moderators will warn someone prior to ejection though. this is true. but this has happend to real time people as well in clubs and organizations. so what standards should we set if we us the term i respect eveyones right to speak freely and openly whats that say about us as a comunity or individuals just curious

this is so true. too many people think freedom of speech is an ok process if it supports there views.. the constitution was designed to protect unpopular speech, since poppular speech needs no protection. if a speaker really upsets you, then it is importaint for us all to look at why? is it a common thing for us as humans to get upset at someone that outs our deepest fears so when a topic does upset us it is a perfect time to bring this demon out and overcome it. Yes freedom of speech for all and I for one would rather be incised by a speeker than placated. that is a major problem with our country we keep electing officals that tell us what we want to hear and so we vote for them except voteing on the best person for the job and the one that tells us the horrable truth is probly the best person.great thread.. thatks for the topic...

Speeking you mind and supporting your view is a basic human right. It oft isn't what is said, but rather the manner in which it is said. Chat rooms can be the biggest pain in the arse and once I left Gor RP I have returned to visit thrice and then only fo locate specific people and get their IM/YM to keep in touch. Yrats ago I attempted to enter Yahoo chats with no knowledge of the abreviations used. No I'm also a two finger typist and type rather slowely. I was asked to give ASL and by the time Neets had explained it to me and I started to respond I was booted after beig abused my a moderator and the room owner. I have found that in chats there are many who have no understanding or concept that some are not as proficient with the KB skills or general chat knowledge.. I have a list of chats I will never again enter due to rudeness to either myself or others close to me. One final thought ~ *"Their loss is greater than yours... keep your head high and find those who are worthy of you."*

I find most chat rooms really unfulfilling and undesiriable. A complete bunch of Mumbo-Jumbo bullshit! I avoid them like I would a red corral snake! *Brightspot
