Obama went over there and said something about we were wrong in 1953. pretty much BS. Israel considers parts of Iran to be theirs. This is more severe then N Korea. (so far)

The live blogging gives a very good sense of the riots going on.

The EU inexplicably recognized the election results right away.

Ayatolla Khameini endorsed them as well and is suffering a major loss of credibility. Bluntly, he sold out.

Obama cannot recognize the results without appearing to be a sellout. But he cannot make any progress with Iran without a recognized government to deal with.
