OttersSwim -> Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/14/2009 9:21:30 PM)

So thinking we might do a bunch of topics on unusual items for hurties...today's item, The Dreaded Epilator

Yea, yea...so it's some hair removal device, supposed to pull the hair out from the root...how much can that hurt?

Do it tens of times in a few seconds and the answer is....A WHOLE FUCKING LOT!

This morning my Lady took our epilator to my bottom and I gotta tell you.  It is bitey, rapid fire stingy, and it just plain can hurt!  She had a blast, I got a big endorphin rush!  [:D]

It is actually best to use the thing right out of the shower because the pores are open a bit more and the pain is reduced.  Do it on dry skin...and it just hurts like a mother....

Used on sensative skin like the scrotum, anal area, or say...the hair on the toes...you sadists are in for a delight as you victim squirms and squeels and dances.

The epilator...designed by sadists for masochists...very smooth and hair free masochists....
I give this item 3 of 3 dancing bananas....[sm=banana.gif][sm=banana.gif][sm=banana.gif]

~FR~

That's a lot of dancing bananas... o.o;

Sounds awesome, but got any more information about these things? How much do they go for? What types of brands? Etc...

FR

I had an EpiLady some years ago, & I absolutely agree that it is a truly evil, sadistic device . . . . . Hmmmmm, maybe I should get another one to add to my toy kit . . . . . . Bwahahahaha . . . .

Bah! See what you started, Otter??? I bought one of those things when they first came out... and immediately wondered what kind of drugs they gave the girls in the commercials to keep them from screaming.....
*shudders and adds hair-rippy-out-at-the-root thingies to her Hard Limits list* [;)]

I am an awful sadist and I frequently play with a guy who is one awful painslut (wife wont do it).

However, even I draw the line somewhere.

Lashra -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 4:05:50 AM)

Out of all the implements that I use on my sub this is the one that makes him cringe. I require that he be body hair free and I have tied him up and used this on his chest when he did not shave it as well as he could have. Talk about someone begging for mercy [;)]

The original epilator was a rotating spring thingie that mostly ripped the hair back and forth until it either broke off, or was tortured until the evil coils found a bit of skin to pinch!  Not very effective, but wicked painful.

Today's epilator mostly uses tweezer like action.  A rotating head with a bunch of small metal tweezers recessed in the head.  The head rotates around and the tweezers crimp at the right moment to supposedly grab hair.   This has been confirmed that they do indeed grab hair!  As to whether they actually pull the hair out, or break it off, is still a subject of debate.  My personal opinion is that they pull/break at roughly a 60/40 ratio.

Either way, the sensation is positively exquisitely painful.

Epilators are available at most department and beauty related stores from Target to Ulta to Sephora.  They run anywhere from $40 to $90 depending on the amount of gee-whiz they come with.  Ours is a Lady Remington with swappable shaving/epilating heads.  It was about $60.

Okay...so that above post from Sthrncom4t is by Ottersswim.  My Lady and I share a computer here at her house and being logged in as Otter on the main CM site does not mean that you are logged in as Otter on the forums!

pyroaquatic -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 7:45:27 AM)

Sounds quicker than ripping my hairs out with standard tweezers or fingers.

NYLass -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 8:03:04 AM)

  Emagine   I swear by it, not at it.

IronBear -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 8:16:10 AM)

One of my ex wives had one once .... I prefer to go the less expensive and fail safe route.... DUCT/GAFFER TAPE

mdr080480 -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 8:28:58 AM)

I've only had my back done, not that I am particularly hairy, but the thing definitely stings. Not quite sure I'd ever use it elsewhere, I would cry like a baby if so, and I'd have to be held or strapped down for anyone to use it elsewhere, because I couldn't use it on myself.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 8:40:18 AM)

That's so funny, I don't think my Epilady hurts at all!   I haven't tried it on areas that are HARD TO REACH, of course... it's essential to hold the skin very taut.  I really prefer it to waxing, and the bonus is that eventually your hair follicles DIE!  Imagine your shiny smooth booty, Otters!

ShaharThorne -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 12:12:33 PM)

I am having crude flashbacks from when I had an EpiLady. I have been to the pdoc for my rape flashbacks, but to go back for the epilady ones is just cruel and unusual punishment...

pleasuredancer -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 8:17:34 PM)

I love mine. Been using one-- this is the second, for five years. I am told that they hurt more if you have corse, curly hair. However, nothing, nothing else gets the insides of the pink parts quite as well.

cagliostro -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/15/2009 10:38:21 PM)

They hurt less with repeated use - so spread it's use out ;)  And various areas hurt to varying degrees.  Not that I know much about it....lol.

exotique -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/16/2009 5:23:44 AM)

Ugh, I thought that *THING* had been banished to the dustheap of history (under the heading "really bad ideas")

I endured the pain from that monstrous device ( then touted as the 'ultimate' in cost-effective body hair removal) and used to wonder about how many others actually kept using it.   And yes the pain was, alas, self-inflicted.

Back then I wondered about the genius who dreamt up the idea of using bouncing steel springs to rip hair...and not a little flesh ...EN MASSE !

It lasted until I settled on waxing as a far more preferable method of bodyhair removal. Incidentally, getting a 'Brazilian' ('Boyzillian' in some circles) is an absolute breeze compared to the Epilady.  I can't believe how many ppl still proclaim how excruciating getting a brazilian is - one session w/ an Epilady will make you a believer in waxing.

And BTW, what an evil name: "Epilady" ...it sounds like some light & dainty feminine notion - what a monstrous marketing gimmick !

As to the type of pain: Think: Flesh being ripped open.   To compare it to another well-known instrument of severe pain, the Cane, at least with a cane, the stinging stops - well, when the stinging stops.  The pain from an Epilady has a cruel way of hanging around.
Pass the cane please ...

camille65 -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/17/2009 6:39:02 AM)

My thoughts on that device?

Run. Run far. Run fast. Don't pass go or collect 200.00.

I still have the scars on my leg from when it bit me. I never did anything to deserve being bitten by an inanimate object! Actually now that I think about it, maybe it isn't inanimate??

My Epi-Tale is in my CM journal as a warning to the world.

Embrace the hair is my new motto. It may not be my owners motto but it is mine!

subtlebutterfly -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/17/2009 6:41:59 AM)

I build up courage, take it out..get it ready..turn it on and OH MY GOD it..it...turns so fast and..the sound and..and...and I always end up turning it back off n calling the beauty salon or just grab the nearest shaver[8|][:(]

AngelGeena -> RE: Calling all Sadists - The Epilator!!! (6/17/2009 8:17:25 AM)

i had one back when, i used it on an area about a square inch in size on my leg, threw the mf'er down and ended up putting it in a garage sale. it is evil, pure evil.
