Uh, much as I love reclaiming such derogatory and arbitrary words, none of the etymological references I saw indicated that was where "whore" comes from.

Heh, not to worry though. I have a hard time seeing anything bad about "a female who desires sexuality".

the thing is, slavery does not require either consent or submission on the part of the slave. it requires simply being "owned," which can be defined either as legal ownership (not possible) or as being entirely subject to the will and authority of another (very possible).

I was getting more at titles such as slave or submissives have no standard meaning, especially here, so arguing about whether or not a pro-slave can actually exist is a waste of time so long as we understand what the op is getting at.

heh, that is the excruciatingly frustrating thing about these boards...that there are no generally accepted standard definitions for ANYthing. however not all of us fall in with this "anything you say goes" practice of re-defining language. can you tell i'm one of 'em? lol
