I occasionally get them.  More frequently, I get the Ghana emails, but even those are only once or twice a month.  Well, there was the ONE dipshit who insisted that my husband would rather have HIM than me

No, I don't really get emails asking if I'm still in my relationship - just emails from my friends here. I do not have up any pics and I state that I am owned, happy about that, and have a friends only profile up for the message boards. I also have no sexual preferences listed on the profile. I figure why give people a view of what my interests are in an area they don't need to know about, especially if I'm not looking.

When I first switched my profile over to state these things I still got messages from men who had emailed me in my previous unowned state. Obviously they decided to contact me again and did not check out the profile updates - fair mistake. After sending them on their way it really doesn't happen any more.

Yes, I get them. Found out it really doesn't matter what you put on there you will get emails. I also assume this is part of belonging to a site like this. It really doesnt bother me though, since deleting comes naturally to me. What I do find funny as-all-get-out is when male submissives want me to be their Domme. It is clearly put that i am a submissive. I have enough stuff going on in my life to be concerned about the type of cmails I get, and honestly am glad I do.

Maybe it's because we have a joint profile - meh who knows.
It's funny how we basically get little in the way of scams, spams or stupidness.  I have always wondered if that is because the profile is a couples.

[sm=dunno.gif]  I don't know, the.dark. I have a singles profile and never get mail except from a few people from the boards. I also don't have anything checked in the "Actively Seeking" section, nor do I list any preferences.

I don't know what I did but since I never get messages, I must have done something right. (Think it's the wedding picture with Lumus?) I just have one person who about once a month just sends me his Yahell ID. Nothing else, no hello, just his ID.

Of course, the flip side of this is that I never get the fun ones either..... [&:]

I mean they have to type the letter right I mean at very least right click paste or Ctrl V is it really that difficult to read the Who's Who of the Profile even if they don't read what we wrote.

some.....asking to be castrated..one asked to be buried alive in a tomb..
another asked if I had remorse when I cut a man's balls off( again mistaking the story for me)....

The only scam emails I get are those from women in Africa who just know we are meant for each other. 

I have sent a few emails to women whose profiles catch my interest and indicate that they are interested in friends.  I clearly state that I am current exploring a relationship with my lady and am not interested in anything more than friendship.  I don't think I've received any responses.

I have joined, and left, Collarme three or four times because of the stupid emails. My last profile got to be so negative, that I took it down for a bit. I don't like being negative. So, this time I just said that I don't answer emails unless they wow me. I still get them, but they go unanswered.

I love the ones that "TELL" me to read their profiles and get back with them, the last one i respond with Don't Think So Because You Didn't Read Mine! which got a fucking cunt response! which was answered with report, block, delete!

The biggest culprit in this is that many people do not update their profiles and that's what some are banking on, that your profile might be an old one and you might be available. 

However, having given some of them the benefit of the doubt here, there are those that ignore and hope to distract...they seek drama. *sigh*  If this is the case, you may have to write small words in your reply to them because the dears may not be able to read big ones.  Type slow.  They read slow.

The ones I get vary from "are you still together" to "He is all wrong for you, youd be better off with me."

They dont read, and even if they did, it wouldn't matter, they dont care.

I got one from someone crazy who said for me to suck his cock and called me the N word (I'm a woman of color if that makes no sense to you) when Sir said I could reply back to him and then block him, I did so, only to have him create a NEW name and harass me with the same email....go figure.

Whoa, is your profile a re-write in response to this? Sorry you feel you have to defend yourself on your own profile, it's supposed to be a good thing, and nobody else can know you now.

Just write it once, enjoy your profile and trash the e-mails... unanswered. Don't give the vampires the pleasure of your attention, don't change yourself over this. This is Your space.
