Hi all

As I am very new to this is there a website/s on just submissiveness for novices like myself.

Somewhere that I can read and is in lamens terms lol

I appreciate any direction or suggestions from anyone

There are years of posts available for reading here at Collarme.  Should take you several months to get through them.  Use the search function at the top of the page if you are interested in reading about something specific, such as "spanking" and you'll have dozens of opinions to read. 

What is nice about Collarme is that you'll get more than one person's opinions.  On most web sites you will get the site owner's opinions and thoughts only.

I find fetlife, to be incredibly boring, as far as finding stuff of interest to read goes, because the way they're set up you have to know about a group or stumble across the group to see what's going on. Instead of like here where you can go and read all the topics from today and clear on through pages and pages back, and if you wanna post you have to join that group, and that's a bit of a hassle just to make some comment, if you're other wise not interested in joining the group but would like to comment anyway.

In other ways though I like it far far better than collarme.

I do enjoy the groups categorizes at Fetlife, alot more diverse and less restricted then here, especially the images.

I find Fetlife, far from boring!

I agree with Mistress Rouge about informed consent being a great site, though it has a largely UK membership, it is a very informative site.

There is also SeekDiscipline, which is geared more towards M/s relationships and has a large states side membership.

I second the suggestion of albany power exchange for some basic reading, plenty of sound information and they explain the terms as they go. I think it takes a bit of basic reading like that first to then get the benefit out of reading and posting to forums such as this ... otherwise newbies get too bogged down in the terminology we use here and the differences of opinions without being able to grasp the nuances.
