Okay, Lots of the Posts lately are literally hurting my head. People asking questions that any basic real look at the concept could answer.

I find that my Replies are getting less and less understanding and more and more .... Dickish.

I am sure there are some people who always thought I was a dick, I already got the hate mail that isn't really what this thread is about.

Anyone else literally SCREAM at the screen at some of the retarded questions that get asked over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over?

I ask because I am starting to worry about my own Mental Health if this is natural or if I should get a mental check up to make sure I am not slowly becoming a sociopath.

All advice welcome... even from those I know don't care for me.

andi's grandfather died this afternoon so she drove up to Wyoming this afternoon, it's just me and the Midget for the next week.

First let me express my condolence for your families loss,that is never a easy situation to deal with and could make anyone feel Dickish at times (I'm not saying that you are though).In the time that I have been here on collarme I don't ever recall you being a dick to anyone just because they said something that rubbed you the wrong way as some on here often do.That's why I don't post often on these boards because while there are a lot that truly do respond in a respectfull/helpfull way there are always those that have nothing to add except snarky ugly comments just to be ugly and snarky and feel superior in doing so.And I know myself and my mouth so instead of sinking to their level I choose to not deal with the BS.But here's what came to my mind when I read your post and please know that I mean no disrespect and this to you might even be one of those questions that I should have a concept on,but here goes anywayinstead of letting it give you a headache and leave you feeling like you may be acting like a dick instead of helpfull then why do you feel that you have to respond at all?Why not just move on and let it be someone elses headache or someone elses challenge who can feel empathy for that persons plight even if it's been hashed out a million times before ?Ok I'm finished and I apologize for it being so long winded,if nothing else take it as food for thought,in the end you will figure out what is right for you and take it from there way before you get to Dick statis.

Steel, I am very sorry to hear of the pain you and andi have at this time. I hope he lived well and that will bring you both comfort.

I wanted to say... because I have thought it more than once! That your post have been very well put and you say what needs to be said with intellgence, wisdom, class and humor. It may feel like you are off your balance, but I don't think we are seeing it the way you feel it.

If you feel like you are becoming a dick (whether quickly or slowly), then you are changing in a way you don't like. The innards are off kilter. Doesn't really matter what we all think. What matters is that you are feeling off kilter.

Sometimes we all get a little irritated by the idiocy. And yes, school's out and it goes up at this time of year.

Get away from this. Take a break. Throw a ball, whack a mole, weed a garden, take a walk. Just turn off the computer. heck watch stupid movies. We'll still be here.

I understand your point Greedy to a certain extent,I just don't agree with the actions behind it.Trust me when I say I'm na big girl and can take care of myself and I can sling it with the best of you if I felt the need to,but what's the point?It doesn't make me feel better about myself in doing so,especially if they weren't that way to me.I try to treat others the way I want to be treated.
