I just received an invitation for dinner. From my parents. I think I will accept. The taxes are almost completely finished.

Look, I personally believe EVERYTHING happens for a reason and also that if you're truly open to it, the right one WILL come into your life -- but you need to both ASK for it to happen and put whatever fears/insecurities behind you. Go ahead... Put it out there... I PROMISE you, love WILL find you.

Thanks for the promise...can I hold you to it? LOL

I'm one of the ones who'll wake up alone tomorrow, and what makes it doubly hard is that up until New Year's Day I was seeing someone who I really could see an amazing future with...Thought he felt the same way, too...

And now I'm back on my own. And just to pour salt into the wound I honestly can't say why things ended. They just did. Call it a Rubik's Cube...a puzzle I may never solve.

Tomorrow I'll work, take a neighbour's 18 mth old for a walk, and after dinner, actually yes, eat ice-cream.

V-Day will pass...I'll survive...and somehow even keep my sense of humour, because I swore a long time ago that life would not make me sad and bitter...and I mean it.

For those who have found theirs...I raise my spoon of Tiger Tail ice cream and say CHERISH!!

PS. It took courage to write this...I'm the stiff-upper-lip sort...so Don't Cry For Me, Argentina...errr CollarMe. [8D]
