I am trying very conscientously to learn how to please my master... am loooking for any helpful information. He requested I come here and I want to surprise him :-) Thanks

Steel...........errr Master Ethel, I want to thank you most sincerely for the vivid images you have cemented into my brain with your descriptive words [8D] OP: The best way to learn to please your master is to sit down and ask him what pleases him. Does he like his coffee a certain way? Does he wish you to dress a certain way? Does he have a preferred routine he likes to follow in the morning and/or evening that you need to learn? Only he can answer things like that. Ask him if there are things he wants you to learn to do for him. Ask questions here on specific things and take time to read threads already going of interest to you.

My advice would be to spend more time with one another talking about your lives past and present and your dreams and anxieties. I'd bear in mind that people who aren't self-aware will not be unable to communicate meaningful desires. I find that asking someone to write a journal isn't conducive to understanding that person because they're conscious of what they feel you want to hear. Try something simple such as looking at a picture of a rose and both discuss what you see. You will begin to get an idea of how you both think and therefore what you both need. For example some people will describe the rose in great detail; other people will see the detail as secondary and will begin to talk about the bigger picture such as the smell of the rose summer days love and other spin offs. Even from this simple act you'll begin to understand whether or not you like fact and detail and this will suggest you will like rules and to know where you stand or whether you like possibilities and prefer to have life open ended which will suggest you will need the room to breathe. In terms of learning on this site - I would use it as a place to discuss your ideas whatever the subject. Sometimes you'll find that the concepts you have worked out in your mind are limited when you begin to discuss them with others and at other times you'll find your ideas are built on solid foundations. I'm not saying that you shouldn't take on board the ideas of others - we all do that in one form or another - but remember you're an individual with your own needs and ideas.

Master doesn't. how about quizzes? if he doesn't mind being quizzed, you could then ask him, specific questions as to his likes and dislikes and jot down the answers for future reference. you could use the "Ask a submissive/slave" or "Ask a Master" sections of this site for question ideas for your quiz. best of luck to you!

You really should ask him what he likes. You could spend hours perfecting the perfect foot massage only to find that he hates to have his feet touched. Find out, at a minimum, what direction he wants you to focus on....pleasing physically, mentally, socially, etc.

Read dirty books and watch a lot of porn read cookbooks and do yoga make yourself as sexy as you can tell Him exactly what you like Him to do to you...not that He actually has to do this of course but it helps if He knows your own dirty thoughts on things oh and ask Him what He likes

Good evening! Lots of people here have given you some really good answers but I do think the bottom line is TALKING. Could he give you a few specific topics? Habits? I mean, to help you narrow it down?? There's so many things to learn from casual to high protocol to domestic to extreme...Maybe he can give you or you guys can discuss one topic a month or two and then go from there. Seems as if he was a little too vague. Bottom line on serving-and this is from MY Daddy-"You will learn what I want you to learn, and how I want you to serve ME." That means I do not have to worry about props, crosses, ropes, etc. But I do have to know about massages, cooking for a diabetic, spankings, and managing finances (insurances, IRA's, etc) If there are any other topics he wants me to look into then I will but he will always tell me or I ask "Master may I please research xxxxx?"
