BKSir -> Sensitive skin (6/19/2009 10:25:01 PM)

It makes it a REAL pain in the ass to get and keep a good collar on my pet.  Leathers are a bit more bearable, but, they don't breathe, and that causes it's own issues.  Metals he tends to be allergic to.  That's pretty standard, golds, silvers, most steel, aluminum, anything that contains nickel basically.  That brings it down to titanium, which is hypo-allergenic and non reactive.  However, I can not seem to locate anyone that sells titanium collars.  Any ideas or links on this would be very very appreciated.

maybe you could line a leather collar with cloth.

The only titainium ones i have seen is from a company somewhere in europe. and they are extremely expensive

You might be able to find someone to make one out of copper. If i remember right that is pretty safe around most sensitive skin.

copper is okay, but it tends to tarnish badly, and get all green and nasty and shitty.  My pet is terribly spoiled, just as I wish. ;)

As far as the titanium ones, great!  That link is awesome!  Thank you :)
