Is loosing erection when receiving anal a common reaction?

Recently I was talking to a person expected otherwise, so full hard-on. As well I saw a few males capable of dong so, not counting porn, where it could be a result of viagra or so.

But for me it seems to be almost mission impossible. The very moment my ass is penetrated, my dick goes soft, the bigger object, whole process is quicker and more complete. Medium size plug or dildo/cock makes me semi- or mostly soft,

For many guys , the answer is yes. And if you watch enough gay porn where the bottom is being penetrated, often he does become soft or just semi erect while having his ass pounded. Part of the issue is the sensations experienced during anal is different than from manual stimulation. We can get too used to feeling one type and it takes time for the body to relearn that other types of stimulation is also arousing. If you losing your erection during penetration bothers you then try wearing a cock ring and see if that helps you maintain a hard on. It's also common for a guy's erection to cycle from hard to soft and back to hardness during a long session of sex before orgasm.

Physiologically, anal penetration interferes with erection mechanics. It's not impossible to stay at attention, but as you have noticed, it's difficult, and the bigger, the more trouble.

I have to agree with most of the information you're getting here. Bein penetrated is just sooo intense, it sort of "short circuits" the erectile response. But, here's the flipside to that: because of the prostate massage I get, I find that the sessions following the strap on, or other penetration scene, tend to be much more satisfying, when it comes to orgasm. I'm not sure why that is... perhaps the prostate is stimulated enough that the gland produces more hormones? (shrug) All I know is the next time I get off, it's mind blowing!

Everyone is different, but it isn't uncommon for men to lose their erections during anal penetration. It generally has nothing to do with how turned on they are, or how much they are enjoying themselves.

yes, very common. but as mentioned, penile stimulatoin (jacking off, use of toys or cockring) while haveing anal is generally a more then good fix. can bring extremely intense orgasms.
