Whilst I am of the belief that there is some one or some people who will suit my needs and wants, I am also pleasantly surprised if and when I do actually find some one who matches them. I take nothing nor anyone for granted though, rarely have and probably never will..

i used to just think "Oh it'll never happen" so decided not to worry about it and just do the best i can. Then along came Sir and i was, and AM, so amazed. Wwe complement Eeach Oother mentally, physically, and play-wise. He never stops amazing me and every day i count my lucky stars that i am so blessed to have Him in my life.

I'd have to say neither, Steven. On the surprising part, I have to say that I'm a bit jaded. Finding play partners (please understand that I'm referring to casual play here and not dynamics) I don't have a lot of difficulty with, so there's not a surprise there when someone wants to participate in what I want to do. I'm not saying that because I think I'm special or anything. I think most female tops experience this.

At the same time, I don't take those folks for granted. I always appreciate the fact that they are willing to play, and specifically, to play with Me.

I am with LP on this finding those willing to play is not surprising nor is it hard. If I wished I could play every day, but that is not what I am really looking for. Now what would surprise me is finding a compatible sub/slave that I connect with on multiple levels for a LTR.

It does and it doesn't surprise me. On the whole it doesn't surprise me because it seems as though I run into compatibility fairly often but when it surprises me is when I find that special someone who seems to 'know' exactly what to do and our approaches/desires match up to a greater degree.

i find just about everything Master and i experience together a mystery. i don't try to comprehend it with my thinking capacities anymore. i just accept it and appreciate it. i have trust and faith that He enjoys what He does to me and for me and trusts that i find fulfillment in being used by Him. i don't think there's any way to "prove" this.
