Oh, thought some members of the Chicas Bonitas de Albuquerque stumbled on a pack.

Never mind.

A bit of a rough moment today.  One of my coping mechanisms, during the day at work, is that when a craving strikes, I will quickly google up something motivational or educational to get through it.  Today, after a slightly spicy lunchtime sandwich, I visited a website that proceeded to tell me how useless it is to use any sort of nicotine replacement, that all my efforts to this point have been wasted, and that when I give up the gum, I will have to go through all the initial agony all over again.  Not helpful.

Fortunately, I reminded myself that it was the internet, and that the place is full of supremely self-confidant morons.

I LOVE the salt in them, so I'd eat a ton an then pay the price, I haven't had SFS in a long time and now after my post thinking about chewing on them and sucking on them I am craving some lol.

Oh believe you me when i first started the sunflower seed route i had the cracked lips and whatnot and it hurt bad,but i take breaks now and then and only eat them when i feel the urge to spark up. When i do eat them i make sure i have a bottle of water with me so i can keep my mouth hydrated so not to cause damage to my lips again.

I want the med that deters the thought, champix I think it is called. But one thing I am sure, there is much truth, truth in the thought, once tobacco has been enjoyed, it will forever be in the mind, it's absence, like something missing from life you can't quite put the finger on.

The medication is sold under the brand name "chantix" in the USA.  It worked for Me....20 years of smoking 2 packs a day and I am "clean" for 1year and 9months.  I tell everyone I am still a smoker, I am just not smoking NOW. I figure I'll keep from smoking for 20 years and then be even and can start again!!! lol
But seriously, the chantix is the only thing that worked for me and I tried hypnosis, patch, gum, spray, sunflower seeds, cinnamon toothpicks,  "chewing tobacco", even aversion therapy.

I cannot for the life of Me understand why someone would want to regulate (ie: take away) an e-cig that would help someone fight off the cravings.

Because there are people out there, that once they have a law behind them, they take great delight and feel the justification to kick somebody when they are down, and then kick them again just for good measure, all the while whilst they are inhaling diesel engine fumes which question their health. But hey, if they get breathing problems, it's nothing to do with anything else, but it must have been the e- smoker, something must have escaped to give me the problem I have now.

If only people knew what nasty chemicals they inhale on a day to day basis, smell plastic, then the plastic is in gaseous form, smell paint, the same applies, any seemingly harmless product can harbour many dangerous chemicals, all of which affect health. But in society, it seems we need somebody to blame, someone has to be the scapegoat, why not the smoker, as they ignore all health warnings and continue to do their thing.

So they are trying to get people to quit while at the same time trying to start legislation that will. in effect make it harder for those people to quit?
and I thought I was a Sadist

Pretty much.  And they are depending on the ever increasing taxes smokers pay to fund all sorts of programs.  Makes one wonder whether they really want anyone to quit at all.

That reminds me of the time I was supposed to go to  san  fransico and I couldn't  find my wallet, so I raided my moms mega huge coin jar* yes she was ok with it* and paid for my trip in loose change, but before I could pay I had to go to the AMPM and have them count it all. I got so many dirty looks from people that came in behind me.

We do have 9 dollars in loose change, which I was trying to get daddy to go to  KFC An W place and buy root beer floats, but he said no we need it to suppliment the  payment on a few  bills.
