Does anyone know how to build a "dark box", I think it's called. Anyway, it's box that a slave or submissive is locked in. The box is totally dark. The slave/submissive is given a jug of water and left totally naked for at least 24 hours. I would like to be put in one to see just what it feels like.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking.  A box is a box is a box.  Plywood and 2x2's nailed together would build a box.   You may need to do some caulking on edges and corners to keep out light.  The door will be the hardest part in making it light proof.   Just experiment until you eliminate any light.   You decide how large or small you wish it to be.

Make sure you have an alarm clock with you.  You will not be able to tell time and will need to know when your 24 hours is over.  Good luck.  I just have a feeling this is better as a fantasy than a reality.

Just ensure that trivial things like air can still get into the box.

this for sure!
and heat. i would suggest you dont go for 24 hours until you know it is comfortable or at least SAFE for long term use. the thing with oxygen deprivation is, you just get sleepy, and once you pass out into a sleep, you will not wake up until the oxygen is let back into the box. if you are alone and/or the door is sealed, you will die.
i would get a few fans blowing air into the box at the minimum. if you feel sleepy at any point, you should err on the side of caution and exit the box ASAP.

I'm not an HVAC pro, so following my advice is at your own risk.

You could have a small fan blowing air in on one side and an exhaust hole on the other side of the box, one high, one low. You might even be good with that, even without the fan, though I'd have it there just in case. Just include a few bends in the air in and air out tube (Don't make them too long, or you'll still be airless if the power goes out) to keep the light out.

A zig zag air passage, painted matte black on the inside, with at least four bends will keep light out. /\/\/ Maybe two, with an exhaust fan on one.

If you leave someone in too long, their eyes can be permantly damaged if brought back into the light too quickly.

You can drill as many air holes in the box as you like, just cover them with a dark, thin fabric, they also make a black screen that does a decent job of stopping light. Turning out the light in the room where the box is ought to be enough to render the box dark enough. Aim a box fan at it for air flow. Just make sure you test it out as fairdom23 said.
