I was known in the SCA for grinning the more and harder I got hit.. Well it was a grimace real,ly but through the barred faceplate it looked like a grin (real Jimmy Carter grin ~ All teeth and no tits). In another part of my life I used laughter to maintain my grip on reality and to deal with extreem pain when I was being hard interogated. (I dont mean BDSM either).

Im curious if anyone has the same problem I do. When I am experiencing pain, I tend to laugh. Its a real problem because the more pain Im in the harder I laugh. Its really screwed up! I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I have not done anything in bdsm yet and am worried I wont be able to use a say something when it becomes too much.

Oh yes - especially when there is fear combined with the pain. Uhm - then i giggle and giggle, which can be a bit awkward at times. ~~~blush~~~

I've known a number of people who reacted with uncontrolled laughter, especially to electro torture.

I get nauseated. I usually know if I've broken a bone or torn something if my first reaction is nausea. I've also bottomed during extreme play and find that at some point I'll hit that nausea as well, but if the top is skilled and can maintain that level without increasing or decreasing for a while I can usually move through it.

I once got a tattoo on my shoulder that took about four hours to do. I fell asleep while he was doing it and woke up because I was nauseated. I breathed and moved through it. I'm sure it's a reaction to a major endorphin dump.

I suppose we all respond to different things in different ways.

That's a wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing it.
