Living in a padded cell is well known to reduce the risk of broken bones ... you probably would get bored pretty quick though as they don't allow you out too often.

Failing that, I'd recommend Voodoo, the chances are that lots of people will not believe that it works but once you tell them you practice it and why, I'm sure at least you're less likely to "bump" into too many people ...

Hope this helps.

Pirate, you are not only handsome & debonair, but absolutely brilliant too.

I tried to find a virgin to throw into a pit to break the curse. But alas, I could not find one around these parts.

~FR~

Well, i was in a town 25 miles north of Fargo, i said your name, and they had a night filled with tornadoes, hail, straight lined winds, the works. i'd suggest you stay far far away from here, or the residents are most likely going to pitchfork your ass across the river, don't ya know.

As far as the broken bones, all i can say is uffda. Maybe lay off the sauce?

Crap!!  My Uncle was right.  Ok, I need to get a load to Fargo post-haste to see whose remains I can dig up.  This curse may not be as ancient as I thought.  As for laying off the sauce, the only sauce I've had lately is Alfredo.  Can that make one clumsy???

Hissltora -> RE: How does one neutralize an ancient curse? (6/28/2009 4:41:37 PM)

Re: the sauce - i can only figure it would contribute if you made it with straight scotch or the likes :)

At least it isn't snowing here. You've got 3, maybe 4 months still. :)

I never did believe in it.  This is just my latest theory about why this keeps happening.  It truly can't be that we are the clumsiest family on the planet, right??

Well, I share that feeling...am ready for a competition...you go on holiday with some cm and I go on holiday with some brave cm's...and then we have a look how many of the cm's will return safe and well with you and me and how many...well...not...and what happened throughout that time...I would suggest 2 weeks...I can promise everyone it won't be boring...a friend used to be thrilled about my life how it is "like a rollercoaster"...well, I would be more thrilled to find that damn exit [&o]

And Gingrich's eye won't help.

Can't hurt, though. I say give it a go! Just tell him it's for a good cause.

I checked. There were 4 other families ahead of yours, but they've all died in terrible accidents. I'm afraid you're it now!

ThatDamnedPanda -> RE: How does one neutralize an ancient curse? (7/1/2009 12:20:04 AM)

I say find out who it was who cursed you, and check to see whether they're properly licensed. If their certification is not current, you could go to the proper authorities and file a complaint. It typically takes about 2 weeks to investigate - maybe as long as 3 weeks to a month if the curse was placed by gypsies, because it can take a while to translate the relevant documentation from Romany into English - but if it turns out the curse was not properly sanctioned, you can have it voided. There's usually about a $25 fee to have the curse vacated, and filing the complaint is free. More than worth it, in my opinion.

Lashra -> RE: How does one neutralize an ancient curse? (7/1/2009 3:19:26 AM)

By sacrificing one male virgin, if you can find one. Or go to the ear, nose and throat doctor and have your inner ear tested. Sounds like it could be vertigo.

Good luck,
~Lashra
