So many vanilla models/actresses pose for cheesy adult BDSM entertainment, I thought you might find it refreshing to learn that our fellow Collarme member ChristyCougar is in the June issue of Hustler magazine posing for some light bondage shots. Christy is quite genuine and deeply submissive (she's my ex). The Betty Paige style poses were my idea to give the shoot mainstream appeal and sure enough, Hustler bought them.

This makes me wonder how many of those cheesy BDSM scenes I have seen in movies and magazines might be from genuine lifestylers just "dumbing it down" for the masses?

I do fetish modelling and for the most part keep it as real as possible. For one, the acting nearly always looks fake and two, I would not do it if I wasn't really into BDSM in the first place. Most photographers are looking for a certain look rather than reality, however.

I have done some shots on the Dominant side of the spectrum, and I sont see an issue with submissives doing it...

I always thought videos at insex.com (which closed a few years ago and sold it's library to an investor) were pretty sincere looking.

I'm not in a city (UK)  where that mag might be on the shelf, so I'm not likely to get a copy, can you hang on to a spare one 'till I get over there ?

I've usually assumed that with the "light" BDSM photo shoots the models were probably "acting" the part and may not engage in any kink in their own personal lives. Granted this is something I had never thought about so my assumptions are pure conjecture!
