It seems to me that you have issues with having a "little bit" of a belly.

If thong girl has no issues with her body size, what right do any of us have to be critical of her?  If she's comfortable being large and in charge, more power to her, no matter what her attire is.  If a woman appears to be anorexic, and she's comfortable showing off her body, all the more power to her as well.  Just because someone's appearance may not be appealing to us as individuals, does not make it right to judge them based on their appearance.

We all have preferences, and I'm not judging you on your preference.  However, I am judging you on your attitude towards someone that does not meet your personal preference.

To be fair pure pleasure you can't help what does and doesn't repulse you physicaly or otherwise.

Well, so far you have responded seriously to two of my posts that included me quoting movies. If you really want to have a conversation with Jack or Al, go to hollywood. Trying to argue the substance of their quotes on a forum is just silly.

Oh wow, you keep track? I am flattered!

purepleasure -> RE: Men walking around with no tops on should be made illegal. (7/1/2009 11:43:12 AM)

So, IF I were to find you repulsive, I have every right to come to a message board and print derogatory things about you, whether we know each other or not?

Starbuck09 -> RE: Men walking around with no tops on should be made illegal. (7/1/2009 11:47:35 AM)

Well...yes you've completely got the right. And  Loki did not single out someone on the message board he is speaking about an anonymous person he found deeply unattractive.

I believe what you're looking for is called "Freedom of speech."

And the answer is yes. You do have that right.

No flames from me, I agree that'd be disgusting. Loki just said it first.

Ok.

I'll try to be less open-minded about others.  Apparently it's no longer acceptable to be acceptable of how other people are.

Being open minded doesn't mean you have to find people attractive. If physicaly you didn't find black people attractive that wouldn't make you racist or closed minded towards coloured people it's just your purely aesthetic taste purepleasure. If I see someone who I find ugly it doesn't mean I think they should be destroyed I just won't attempt to have sex with them.

Luckily that's all that matters when we're throwing around the word "rights."

Peaches...just because it is legal to slam someone does not make it right.

But perhaps look at it this way... It is a good thing it is legal, as those who do the slamming make very clear the content of their character.

I never said I wasn't accepting of it. But acceptance and disgust are not mutually exclusive. I know she can be how she is. She *is* how she is after all and I have no interest in changing that. I didn't judge her character or her moral fiber, I simply said the visual disgusted me.

Think of it this way. If I take a bite of a burger that tastes nasty, I drop it and say "that's fuckin' disgusting." Who cares? The burger's taste was disgusting to me and I said as much.

Conversely, we see a tragic car wreck and say "oh how horrific." Who? The people? The cars? What if it was a Ferrari? Are we judging the people or the cars or simply saying the image of the wreck was horrific?

Take that one more step to the person. And ladies, do not try and say you've not ever seen a girl wearing an ugly top....or the wrong shoes....or a bra showing under her shirt and not made a comment about it. It's the same thing here. Something I saw displeased me, and as is my right, I spoke up about it.

I did not go to this person like I was on the playground and say "ha ha fatty fatty!" I didn't ridicule her or belittle her. I didn't make a single inference about her character (unlike some here have about mine) I simply said her fat rolls obsucred a garment would *should* have been visible under ordinary circumstances and I found that disgusting.

that is true. but i would hope you would have more class then to come on a public thread and announce to all that you find one portion of the general public to be disgusting.

Oh we've covered that topic before as well. Your right to nurse doesn't prevent my right to make my feelings known. [:)]

But.....since we're back on the topic at hand -- bare chests in public. I agree now. I think women should be allowed to go topless. That way, we can de-sexualize them and de-criminalize someone who gives a girl a purple nurple.

It's funny isn't it? I can horse around with my guy friends, tweak a nipple, watch them jump, and we all laugh. I do that to a girl....and I end up on a 'list' somewhere as a 'predator.'

Equality my ass.

You're right holly but I don't think Loki was doing that, at the very least I think he has been unfairly singled out. People throughout this thread have been saying what they do and do not find attractive male breasts, back breasts unsightly hair e.t.c. I'd feel differently if loki had singled out someone on the forum and mocked their pictus because that's just rude and childish but he didn't.

But your not thinking it's right doesn't make it wrong, either.
