Blank Profile question - 2/15/2006 9:27:48 AM

Status: offline 		Hello, there are a few profiles listed below my home page (with a picture indicator in the first column), yet no profile appears when I select it. Are those inactive members, private profiles, members blocking their profiles, or a site bug?

I searched around the forums for previous discussion on it, but did not see anything relevant.

Anyway, welcome, and we all love that arrest photo of yours!

I think he is asking why when he clicks on a name on the list that has a photo next to it, there is nothing on the profile. Could be that there is no profile information, or could be that there is no profile, period. I dont know if that is what he means.

Status: offline 		Its because the person probably deleted their account and sometimes there are caching issues where it can take up to 24 hours for it to clear out.

Status: offline 		I do not have an authoritative answer, but what I have noticed is those profiles are those where the person has not been online for a while, so I think its because they are inactive. I haven't bothered to try to figure out how long it takes to become inactive though.

Thank you. Though, I found it odd that is was happening to nearly 30% of the profiles I was selecting.

Yep, absolutely no profile at all. Not even the empty template. And it seemed to be happening to more than just a few.

Heh, thanks. Two weeks vacation from work catching up on things around the home. I call it my "House Arrest" period ;)
