This will be my last Roll Call as i am packing things in here.I will read others posts from time to time but i will no longer post for the much forseeable future.I wish to thank all of you have been a friend at one time or another.I am not hateful to anyone or anybody as it is all water under the bridge. For the record,i am heading to New York again on the 17th.A few more irons in my fire to see whether or not a move back is feasible.Best wishes to all of you in future endeavors and have a healthy and safe Fourth of July.Till next we meet....be well.

I'm sure you have your reasons there.  Darn shame.  We'll be missing you.

I'm in the midst of saying good-byes here Myself.  In just a couple of weeks, we'll be saying so long GA and hello CA.  While I'm excited about meeting new folks on the other coast, I have to admit that I'm going to miss a lot of the kinky people that I've come to know and love over the past five years.

Last month I attended SELF (SouthEast Leather Fest) which was not only a wonderful experience in itself, but also My opportunity to say a farewell to many folks in the Atlanta community who have been a part of My kinky world.  Many names who have graced these boards but don't visit frequently anymore.  The official Pact household going away party will be on July Fourth.  What better day to send us off with a bang?  LOL.  That play party is bound to be one for the history books!

For those of you who are wondering about clip, he is doing ok.  After a brief visit here, he did deploy to Afghanistan during the past month.  So far, I'm able to talk with him by phone every few days.  I do miss him a great deal, but I am always proud of his service to his country.

Other than that, My life will be filled with packing up the house over the next couple of weeks in anticipation for the big move.  I hope to have the opportunity to meet some of the folks from CM during the drive across!

Finishing up my first month back in college. Had a small battery of courses to ease back into the swing, now I'm taking the plunge with basic calculus, world history II and physical anthropology. So...I'll be on even less. :-p

I miss Mistress Shakti like mad. But work and school keep me distracted enough that I can't feel too bad too often. Nights are the hardest though. Our room is so quiet...

Going to try and rope my D&D crew into seeing the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at mid-month. It's been a full year now since I did any midnight showings; I sorta miss it. Hopefully they'll bite, but getting any group of nerds together is like herding cats.

Wow, things could not be in better shape---work is really good--curent project is getting rave reviews--hope that means a good review and MMOOONNNNNEEYYY!

My horse and his feet are finally on the mend after many months of issues and we are looking forward to a long weekend of working out and riding and many years of riding!

My UM has started college, after taking a gap year to devote to the horses, taking a vet assistant course first to get certified and work while she gets through the remaining 6 years of undergrad and vet school. She has started down this journey of WIITWD, it will be interesting to see how She does, a funny feeling when a next genner starts their path, but I am very proud of Her as she is or as She may become.

I am better than ever, new BP med has Me back to the energy I had when they found this three years ago--so for anyone who knows My energy pn the old med, you can only imagine what it is now--I feel bright, alive and cheery--it was great before, but now its so much better, I actually feel I have a long life ahead now--amazing.

Have a new submissive under investigation--LOL--we met ages past, could not get our respective work/life schedules coordinated--he came a few weeks back and said, " ok Mistress, i have my life organized so i can devote the time to see where we go, if that's acceptable"--so though there is yellow caution tape because I proceed with caution--its nice so far. We will see each other this summer---its nice, really nice.  Stay tuned.

So life is good, work is good health is good, I am happy but more importantly, I am content.

Hope this finds everyone well and one should always be careful when they burn a bridge, it may be one upon which they stand.

There is a transition going on and I'm saying 'yes' to the universe (thank you, Sylverdawn, for sharing that pearl of wisdom from the Masters Retreat.)  Creating in my kitchen and sewing room, grooming a business model I've wanted to develop for awhile. Just finding jewels in unexpected places :)

Nothing M/s or BDSM related to tell really. My luck with women seems to be at a all time low. One woman was supposed to be coming here this next weekend to start a trial period over the summer. Instead, she is spending her summer with her dying mother on the west coast.

The powers that be, must be telling me something.

Fortunately, I am fine with that. It's not a burning neeeeeed in my life at the present time. Maybe that has something to do with it too, who knows....

I am getting ready to have two short people spend a long weekend while I take a few days off and extend the holiday weekend. Later this month I am going to go hang out with my youngest sister and brother, and their families for a week. I might even be nice and spend a few hours with my mother.

I've been working on scanning and documenting old family photos and records back to the late 1700's in my free time. My mother has quite a bit of them. Her mental state is always something of a question which makes having an alternative electronic file of these things more important. The photos are my primary concern as I seem to have come from a long line of photography nuts. Many of the photos are quite amazing and enjoyed by people that are not family. Just because they are so cool. Stuff like old circus photos from the 30's and 40's, from when my grandfather was in a circus band. Many are, behind the scenes, types of photos. Chow tent, performers rehearsing and goofing around. Just very cool. Another apparent family obsession, cars, has been well documented via photos. Also very cool.

I inherited all the records and photos my paternal grandmother had, and have been scanning those just to be safe and also to share. But I really want to be sure to get the old photos my mother has, scanned. I remember one that hung on our wall when I was a kid. My great grandmother as an infant, her mother, father, siblings, in front of their sod hut in Kansas. That one fascinated me. Now I can scan it, and reproduce it to hang on my wall.

My sister has several hiking, horse riding trips planned, one will be overnight. God help the wildlife in the mountains of SW Colorado! I cannot wait to visit my sister's new employer. She is working for an internationally known, horse trainer that has her own television programme and is often featured in magazines. I am very proud of my sister. She has far surpassed me in horse training expertise, at least in that type of riding, and has been able to make a lucrative career of it. I look forward to watching her in action while remembering the days, years ago, when I first taught her to ride.

I've been working outside a lot, expanding flower beds, just doing maintanance on a 3 acre yard. Riding more, than in years past, also.

All is not lost on the kinky front. On my way back from Colorado I am stopping to visit a previous lover that I have remained very good friends with. Much hilarity and fun is sure to ensue. Not to mention some really amazing sex.

Fun wise not a lot to report - though I did finally get round to playing with my single tail the other week which was brilliant! The poor little lad was most grateful, as he made reasonably clear through his gag!

Work wise today its twelve months since I bought back the other half of the company; they said we'd be bust by xmas without their brilliant support (sarcasm - they were holding us back IMO), yet here we are a year later - and three times larger in terms of people, locations and most importantly sales!

Aside from that, I'm waiting more kittens to be born (last lot, promise) and for the remainder of the spring litters to be homed.

And I'm getting lots of tennis practice in - I came home from Suffolk yesterday to find the place full of horrible flies! Uneaten cat food is usually the culprit for this, but no sign of anything on that front and the bowls are washed up every day. There must be something somewhere lurking behind a cupboard or something where theyre coming from but so far I can find nothing. In the meantime, batting flies with the tennis racquet is great fun - picking up the mangled bodies not so much!

Life continues to be unbelievably busy.  My plans for a trans-Atlantic move are proceeding, and that's my main focus for the moment.  I'm becoming passionately addicted to modern and contemporary art, along with medieval illuminated manuscripts, so that is filling what little leisure time I have.  I find that I can now speak intelligently about a wide variety of artists, many of whom I hadn't even heard of a year ago.

Today's Amazon delivery consisted of a two-volume set called "Art of the 20th Century," and I'm absolutely over the moon.  Men dribble all over Playboy, I dribble all over art books.  Now if only I could get them to vibrate . . .

I won't be looking for a potential sub/partner until after the move, but I'm really enjoying making lots of CM friends in the UK right now, and given that I'd want to start out as friends before moving to something more committed, that's quite a nice spot to be in.  But, seriously, it's July?  Are we absolutely sure about that?

~~FR~~

Been a super busy summer so far.  Had a ton of dr appts during June-- with all the specialists.  Eye dr says the glaucoma hasn't gotten any worse since Dec and he'll see me next year unless I start noticing problems.  The rheumy said they will probably add another med in Sept but will wait to make sure this chemo drug doesn't kill me before adding more.  I was cleared to finally go to have all my teeth pulled and get a full upper plate.  Seems that the years of massive doses of steroids caused my teeth (and bones) to crmble at the slightest thing.  Anyway, that was all accomplished this week too....

Taught a Reiki class a couple weeks ago and held two big spiritual functions here at our property... got another one this weekend!

My 30 year old daughter is coming along just fine with the pregnancy--- she's almost 5 months now and we get the ultrasound this Friday to find out the sex.  They don't think there is a need to send her on for genetic testing so that makes me happy.

Broke another crop and another paddle ..... gotta replace them rather soon as I have some upcoming appointments.

Got some FABULOUS thigh high boots.... black & red patent leather with white lacings up the outsides and zip up the insides.

Cut all my hair super-duper short.... can't color it due to the chemo so I'm sporting some salt & pepper that just gets more and more curly each treatment!

Life is good.

If you are reading this LAT, I know what you are up against. You definetely need a servant, slave, yardboy, with 3 acres. I have .62, and the weeds are kicking my butt. Think it might be cheaper to spend less on weed control, and invest in certified hay. If my new room-mate works out, I hope to be be able to travel without having to be back for awhile. Plan to vist friends in Durango, and Denver, CO. then to alittle town in Iowa, I don't remember the name. Back to Pa. to meet family and friends, maybe old gfs. Maybe check out Maine area, and back home to hopefully sell my house, and move to greener pastuers. Hope everyone has a great summer.

Last month Cali and I went to Phoenix to visit MoGA, next week it is off to Ft Myers for the Calibirthday, the week after THAT I am off to Chicago to visit a friend of my mom's.

On other fronts, I am talking to some people of potential interest, and seeing how things go.  The most interesting one is a guy that struck me as madly creepy when he first wrote, then he posted here a bit, and I talked to him on the phone, and he is actually a decent and interesting guy!  The other, by some miracle of commerce, has been working seven day weeks...    There's some potential for play partners, and I am helping out some newbs find their path.  Amazing how many people think they are into the lifestyle but have NO clue what it is they want.

I am quasi-laid-off, but can work when I have clients to see, which means I expect to be busy this summer, but at least I can plan my time as I like to!  I have to allow ample time to deal with the beads, yarn, paints, and other things that need my attention.  AND get ready to fabricate a bunch of things to raku this fall.

I'm here, just hanging around and chatting it up with a Dom. We got lots of the same interests between the both of us. Getting back on my diet and so far lost 5 pounds. Still waiting for the phonecall about my SSI. Mainly lurking these days and reading books if I have not read them already.

July seems to be a quiet month for me.
I'll be studying and taking a certification exam for web design.
My nephew is up from NJ for a few weeks
I'll be socking away a few pennies to take to the floating world in August.

Not much planned other than that.

Well June was a tad boring ... Master and I have been stuck in one place the whole month! The Chev broke down ... it was towed 400km to get fixed, we waited for parts from the USA, it was put back together, the mechanic had tested all and thought he'd found the problem, Master caught a train down and drove it back. We hitched up the van, managed to get to the dump point to empty the toilet and grey tanks (Phew!) but the Chev broke down again before we even got out of this town! So it was back to the same campsite, and the Chev went off on the tow truck again next day. We are cursing buying a US import, but there's not really much choice for hauling around a 5 tonne 5th wheeler! Our poor little dog was the funniest, she'd got stir crazy after the first week, so when we finally got into the car after 20 days she was ecstatic! Imagine her reaction when, less than an hour later, we got her out of the car back here! She looked dumbfounded, sort of gazed out in disbelief, then looked up as if to say "Are you 2 fucking nuts?? This is the same place ... the SAME PLACE!" She sulked all that day. I should never have promised her a new exciting lifestyle with different places and smells each day! We're hoping to hear soon that the parts have arrived and that it will be fixed again. However, it's cutting the timeline pretty fine to get across country to Perth, so we have a back up plan of Me flying there alone if I have to!

On the positive side, I've had lots of time to refine My PhD proposal so that's done, I've been writing test questions for a publisher which will help repay some of the costs of the car ... and I got 26 pages of scrapbooking done! And overall, we are both pleasantly surprised how livable this van is, even when you're not having the excitement of new places to offset the confined space. It's been hard not having a car, have only gone out 2x a week to shop (via taxis) so have been here pretty much 24/7, but it really is very comfortable. I'm now wondering why there's a whole storage unit full of stuff ... not missing it!

Very good luck to LadyPact as She sets off and moves across country, hope You don't have any such hassles! Also LaTigresse, good on You for working with the family photos. However, do be aware that software (and hardware) changes over time may mean that Your scans will need updating from time to time. Don't rely on them as the only source documents, and do be sure to keep the originals in photo-safe conditions. It's sobering to realise that NASA can't access any of the documents it used in the early days because the electronic medium has changed so much, most of what got man to the moon was on tape! So be aware of format changes, don't get caught out!

All the best and hoping I have lots more exciting news next month!
Maam Jay aka violet[A]

This seems to reflect my feelings as well, the frustrations of not being able to meet/converse with someone who may have the potential to develop into a loving relationship can be really disheartening. I wish you well, maybe around the corner there is someone...for now I will continue the search but my heart is hardening daily.....
