I always wondered if there were so many episodes with Angel (David Boreanaz) in chains. Was it simply to play with my mind? Why taunt me with what I want most and not let me put my hands on it?



The whole Buffy/Angel series was loaded with BDSM imagery. I love the episode where Faith is chained up in Angel's crypt and he taunts her, asking her if she forgot the safety word', to which she snarls back 'safety words are for wusses'.

If you are interested in more on the subject, Dr Jenny Alexander of the Department of Media and Film, University of Sussex wrote a paper entitled “A Vampire Is Being Beaten ? De Sade Through the Looking Glass in Buffy and Angel” (it is in PDF btw). The paper explores the relationship between the verbal and visual codes of torture, fetish and eroticism in Buffy and Angel, and the proliferation of associated ‘BDSM’ flavoured fan-fiction set in the Buffyverse.

Status: offline 		I'd be hugely happy to have Helen Hunt helpless and hungry for humiliation (I love alliteration ). Paul Riser was funny in Mad About You, but didn't deserve her, IMO; while good ole Jack did a pretty good job of keeping her interested while off balance in As Good As It Gets. Sure, his character was messed up but I loved that film. What was that line, "You make me want to be a better person"?

I know there's films I haven't seen her in, even one she did a prolonged love scene in, I'll have to go look it up on IMDB [The Waterdance]. But she's my favorite star- smart, witty, brassy, but able to be feminine and vulnerable. She thinks she's the girl-next-door type of woman, which I agree I'm attracted to; and I love the sad puppy dog look she can put on, or that hesitant, wan little smile she wears in public that makes you think she'd rather be somewhere else...

Status: offline 		Sting (of the Police) might do it for me. i'd been a major "Police" fan for years, even way before the release of their song ""Every Breath You take". i've always loved the video ( at least i THINK it was for the song "Every Breath You take". ) in which he is surrounded by many candles and proceeds to swing at them causing hot wax to fly in all directions.

I have been since the FIRST time I saw him in the Three Musciteers, and utter lost my heart and soul to him with " The Crow " after that... I kind of just became a very scary lady when the name Wincott flutters near by...

She first hooked me with her character on Ally McBeal, but Lucy Liu is definately good wanking material. (Did i say that out loud?)

Sweet bjesus can you imagine kneeling proud beside her, collar clasped around your neck.

I was also impressed by the whole slow motion scene with Lucy in Kill Bill, when she was dressed up in that white geisha outfit.
