I envy you.  I never have enough time in the morning to have a decent breakfast.  When I wake up, I am in a rush. I shower, shave, and brush my teeth in 15-30 minutes.  I want to make coffee, but I never have the time.  zWhen I do the timer, I feel guilty for leaving extra cofee (I'm a chjeapskate).  So I stop at my local gas station for a cup.  I'm always hungry in the morning, so I am instantly drawn to the junk food.  It's fast, cheap, and easy.  So I buy it.  I know I shouldn't.  But I do it anyway.

How about getting up 15 minutes earlier? (As if I am one to talk)

Do you have those coffee machines that make one cup at a time in the US? I really adore mine, as it allows me fresh coffee all day long instead of the old sludge still in the machine.

My breakfast usually is a bit later, after the school and kindergarten run, as i can not really stomach something first thing in the morning. ( I am such a good example when it comes to breakfast )
Most times I have multigrain toast with cold cuts or cheese, homemade yoghurt and fruit. Coffee or tea, depending on mood.
On sundays it is a big breakfast with eggs and bacon in one form or other, fresh rolls, preserve, cold cuts, cheese, juice, and whatever sounded good. Sometimes a special, like pancakes, or homemade eggmcmuffin.

Usually I have one of the following with my coffee.

Plain, good yogurt (not that shit Dannon and like companies try to pass off) with fresh fruit and raw nuts.
Oatmeal with soymilk and raisins.
Fresh fruit (this is the case this morning.......fresh cantaloupe).
Kashi bar.

*chuckles*
I know that problem and used to have it myself for a while. Skipping breakfast completely was one option, but I noticed that would affect my concentration at work -or make me grab stuff from the candymachine, which is not good either.
I found a relatively easy solution (ok, don't laugh, I know, I know) but tried a kind of shakes like the ones from Herbalife. Just a bit of powder and a bit of milk, shake it and it's done...*lol*...and the shakers are handy so I can take them with me and sip them during the drive to work.
*lol*...I don't even make them in the mornings anymore, but the evening before, so in teh morning I rush out, grab the shaker from the fridge and shake it on the stairs down (I live on the 2nd floor in an apartment building) and have breakfast in the car.

Actually, though I started with the stuff only because it was fast and easy I found I lost about 2 pounds/week with no other changes in eating habits, so I guess something is to be said for them being good for you

Eggs sunny side up, bacon, and sausage; it's what I eat every day.

Today's breakfast was 2 light, fluffy scrambled eggs, 2 pieces whole wheat toast, and coffee.

Morning people!

After reading this thread (at 4 a.m.), I was inspired.  I asked Mistress if we can make some home made yogurt. And she said YES!  Woot wot!

I'll let you know how it goes.

It's easy, sunny, REAL easy. Like making kefir, another cultured dairy product. And talk about HEALTHY!!! You'll get so much more probiotics in homemade yogurt or kefir than you'll ever get from anything at the store.

(If ya want some kefir grains, holler at me, I gots PLENTY!)

ETA - I haven't eaten yet today, my stomach/pancreas problem has been acting up so I have to be careful about what I'm eating and drinking. Most foods are making me sick right now. I'll probably go have a cup of tea and who knows what else......

Because they looked good at the time. I had a beef and bean burrito this morning. I like most breakfast food, I just don't like eating it first thing in the morning. Now cold pizza, that would have been good.

Hey thanks Rain,
I'll keep that in mind... I looked it up.  First, lemme get through the yogurt trial.  heaven knows I might blow up Mistress' kitchen and then well... I'd be kitchenless (and homeless really)... harumph.

hope your tummy is better.  Hey I have some crazy tea that might help you....

I used to eat them and then when I made the efforts to become healthier and cut as much junk out of my life as I could I stopped eating them. And in the future, if I ever have kids I wouldn't feed them to my kids either. I wouldn't feed half the shit marketed out there as "healthy or good for you" to my family , as I think most the stuff is an utter joke.

Because you are stumbling around on auto-pilot and too tired to care?

Edited to add, I second the recommendation of getting a single serving coffee maker and skipping the gas station entirely.

Had whole wheat toast with homemade strawberry jam.

Sometimes I have a bagel with either a slice of ham or one scrambled egg. I really do need some protein in the mornings.
