I'd like to see what kind of submissive would buy your line of bull. Now I suppose you are going to tell me how you have a princess waiting for you at home.

*Nearly bites tongue off having a giggle fit* Uh, sweetie? This is one of those times when you should have read the profile, LMAO. [:D]

Honestly, some of the best and most "real" people on CM are here on the fora. I have had the pleasure of meeting several people from here and enjoyed their company immensely. Unfortunately (for you), many of those people will read this thread and see your overblown, and sometimes downright bitchy, reactions to everyone who doesn't (at least in your mind) agree that having a blank profile is some form of capital offence.  Others will undoubtedly read your latest journal entry and decide to pass on contacting you. If you were looking to further minimize the number of real, honest Ds contacting you, well done.

PS- PinkSugarCandyThingy, is that you?? If not, you have a long lost twin somewhere, OP.

To the OP
When I was first looking I put up a profile on another bdsm related site. I was contacted by various "Doms" some of which had interesting profiles but turned out to be totally useless when trying to chat to. In at least 3 cases they admitted that the profile had been written for them as they did not find it an easy thing to do themselves.

I also got a message from someone that said "we should chat". Checking his profile there was nothing there apart from the tick boxes filled in as to what he was looking for:

someone younger than him......... I was older by 5 years
someone lighter than him ............I was heavier
someone looking for a 24/7 relationship........ I was starting out and looking for play

So we chatted and there was something about him that had me agreeing to meet him and play without ever speaking to him on the phone. Had I taken the profile at face value and ignored it because he did not seem the right match for me I would have lost out on so much. In fact tomorrow is our 5th anniversary. Having spent time with him I learnt that he is a "doer" and not a reader/writer. He has never spent time on the forum here. In fact we use a couple of forums that related to our business. He has never read any of the postings on them and has never responded. I do all of that side of the business.

So there are some people that prefer not to put details on their profile but to make it a one to one conversation with the other person as they find that an easier way to communicate. Really it is very simple, if having detail on a profile is that important to you, ignore those that don't. Whining about it here won't make a difference.

Whilst I do understand why some have skimpy profiles, and I may even write to one or two who say less than nothing, I will not wait forever for a girl to come up with some details about herself after contact has been made and if she is interested. There is no way known I will ever again invest months dragging information out of someone on the net.
