I've agreed to get on the back of my b/f's bike !! Argh.
I felt pretty good about it until he came home with a helmet for me yesterday, i've now run out of excuses to not get on!!
But eureka its pissing it down today
Oh and apparently you can get stiletto bike boots - yummy

I think you'll do fine and you may end up liking it after the initial scare passes. I give you a lot of credit for trying it, many people wouldn't have got that far. Technically I'm a biker chick and have 2 of my own but you'd never know it by looking at me. All you really need to become one is a spirit of adventure and the willingness to try - you've done both

my only word of advice is to save the stiletto boots for a later trip. When you've gotten the hang of foot placement on the bike. Live free...ride hard!!!!!

I think you'll do fine and love the thrill of it. There is nothing like riding a motorcycle. My dad taught me to ride a little Honda 50 before I ever learned to ride a bicycle. Gods, the memories I have of those little bikes! And people wonder I love bikes to this day....

Safety first, honey. No long scarves, cover up your skin and wear sensible boots. You can get a small leather backpack to hold you beloved stiletto heels. Yer man can get heaters that plug into the battery and warm up inside the leathers. Some guys I know also use those heating packs from the First Aid section at the pharmacy to stay warm.
