absublutely -> How does a sub get invited to a munch? (2/16/2006 3:42:15 AM)

i was curious how a sub (new, of course) get "out there and mingle" - so-to-speak? I'm in the Denver, CO area and all the clubs/munches i've found are all exclusive and for members and their guests. i'm un-collared but interested in meeting people and would like to be more involved in the lifestyle but feel i would be un-welcomed to these clubs if i wasn't invited...

I think you need to just broaden your munch search. The rationale behind most munches is to allow people to become part of the community. If they're exclusive, they're parties, not really munches.

try looking for a Yahoo group in your area, that's how i found people in my area and was able to (finally) get to meet them at a munch

clicky, clicky List of Colorado area munches

These should keep you busy for a while. Some of them are private, but there are plenty of public munches. Just be sure and join the mailing list first, so that people will be looking forward to meeting you.

And don't worry about being uncollared-there are always plenty of uncollared male subs at munches.

So true..."exclusive" munches seem like more evidence of creeping honkeyism.

Follow the link provided elsewhere, attend *only* public munches and you'll do much better.

Try having a nervous breakdown all over someone who is already a member of a group: worked for me!

Well, I was really upset and frustrated and frankly I wasn't fooling anyone about being vanilla. Fortunately my friend's mum noticed. It's a bit surreal but, I guess that's why it's important to risk being a little more open because then people can offer their help, and there are loads of us out there, in the strangest places.

What makes you think it's racially motivated?

Why not give them the B.I.T.C.H. test and find out!! LOL
But remember if Ya use the AntiJensen Intelligence test
it was created for the white middle class and therefore
is culturally slanted anyhoo. ( covers My mouth thinking gasp, Ive

What about the third person narratives of Hitler? Were they
