I loved those comics growing up, and passed that along to my kid brother...

I just found out that there will be a Tintin movie coming out in 2011, based on The Secret of The Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure.  Speilberg will be the director and Peter Jackson will be doing animation!!!!

Yay!

Glad that I could make you feel old, Bear.  I will follow up on that amazing trick by making grass feel green and fire feel warm.

Christine, Tintin and Asterix are comic books of a much higher caliber than would be found in the US.  Tintin is Belgian and set in the 1920s - 1950s or so.  Asterix is French and set during the Roman Empire days.

I remember Smurfs I don't remember tintin.... I did a search and came up with several things... *shrug* I guess I'll wait for the movie.

An old friend was sucking on a blue sucker one day..... She turned to me, stuck out her tongue and said, "Look, I blew a smurf."
