Submissives strive to please out of their own ambition to please. It's not as much about MAKING them obey, as it is motivating them to obey, and/or inspiring their submission. Part of that motivation/inspiration is teaching mindfulness and focus. Daily ritual, customized to that particular submissive is very helpful. This can include mantras, which may or may not be tied into his/her sexuality. Anal training is very psychological, but I wouldn't advise that unless you make sure you are familar with health risks. Most important is understanding a particular submissive's hot buttons, and using them to your advantage. Also important is the submissive's willingness to participate and not just get cranky or whiny if he/she isn't getting what she wants instantly. Oftentimes, part of training is teaching the submissive to communicate wants, needs and desires appropriately. Of course, as the Dominant, you need to be able to do this as well, leading by example. Additionally, you have to not be triggered by your submissive, so you can give constructive guidance as your influence into the interaction. My 2 cents,
