I don't see why ignorance is a bad thing unless you are purposely being ignorant than you're being in denial. By definition ignorance is just not knowing something so unless you know everything how aren't you ignorant? Now, lacking common sense can be a sin however it depends on the situation and the person. I mean, what is common sense to me may not be common sense to you. Assumption -- Assuming is a type of ignorance in my opinion because you think you know something, but you don't. Arrogance -- Duh :] Lack of communication -- A sin is defined by an action or human characteristic in an INDIVIDUAL that would be deemed as unethical or unmoral. Lacking communication isn't something that an individual can possess however is something that a system can contain. Now, I'm not saying that bad communication is a good thing. And in essence, assuming is a very common form of communication problems thus making LOC a form of ignorance. Dishonesty -- Duh :] Greed -- Duh :] Desperation -- This one's a 50/50. I mean, if you haven't had food for 3 days, you maybe a little desperate for food. No? YAY, I narrowed it down to 3 deadly sins. Let me add one that would include almost every bad characteristic: being in a state of denial. If I had time I would explain why being in denial is the ultimate and only true sin as I believe you can link every problem in mankind to some form of denial.
