Yellow, but not a harsh yellow tone - think more of a pale yellow color. I like black to wear (cause I look good in it... lol) but yellow is always the first color that comes to mind for favorite colors - nice and cheerful.

Smell is very important to me. I tend to have an above average sense of smell than most people, so will even smell things even if they aren't in the same room. Sometimes a bit of incense or scented candles would enhance the atmosphere, and if it is one of those softer scenes, nice easy listening music drifting in the background. Heavy scenes I prefer doing in silence, aside from the moans of the bottom of the evening, with the smells of blood, sweat, fear, arousal and anticipation. One of my guilty pleasures is to take one of my floggers, homemade or store bought and inhale the odor. It does something to completely engulf me, and when I'm bottoming, ready to take the first hit, irregardless of intensity.

Color is not as important, although I top in my Goth outfit (see avatar) because it is so cool. However, put pink, yellow or purple in a scene and I will seek and destroy it first.

Prime colors, strong and bold, solids Red, Blue, Yellow, greens, and purples are very nice. But in trueth as a sub I must take the colors that my Domme wishes.

As for colors....depends on what. Dark purple, melding into black looks lovely on the skin, in a variety of shapes and sizes. But i also like a deep dark red, just in general.

Personally I tend to gravitate more towards Purple, Black and Blood Red. Maybe not so much of a Blood Red, but more of a Burgandy/Wine dark red.
90% of my wardrobe is black. I will throw in some color if I feel the need exists. I specifically bought a black suit with some purple and wine/burgandy red silk shirts because I knew I would need dress clothes. SO those are the colors I would gravitate towards.

Never heard of the BDSM color wheel... but I do seem to have different favorites.

Vanilla - grey, sky blue, teal green

BDSM -
purple (for my favorite flogger and the color of bruising)

black (because there is something so mysterious, forboding, and intoxicatingly sexy about a black man, dressed in black leather, holding a black single tail, getting ready to tear open the back of my black dress...
