To the thread at hand...
For a time being You may have to hold her hand through many things. It sounds to me like she needs a lot of reassurance from You. Such as being there when she thinks You won't be; not getting pissed off when she thinks You might be.. build her trust in You by being honest and communicating with her. If You KNOW she will react badly to something, don't do it 'just because You can, because You are the Master'. Just my own personal opinion, from one who's been there done that and knows how it feels.
