Some men can be described as 'leg' men, others can be described as 'tits and ass' men, me, I am it would seem largely a breast man. Just what is it about males and breasts, why is it we are so attracted to the things, things which are basically an item of the female form that was traditionally used for suckling the offspring like the rest of mammalian life ?

Because they are soft and squishy and they make awesome pillows when you are watching tv. Oh and because she makes really great faces when I nibble on the nipple.

This is so, and the explanation is sound. ^^ And then these the whole theory of the Oedipus complex lingering from infantile memories of safety and salvation brought on and built up as you went through your nursing stage. ..and women (most of them) like breasts to, so that theory isn't completely out. >_<

~FR~ What makes anyone an 'anything' person? Lately I've been noticing I'm a bit of an "ass-man" myself when it comes to men (and, um, as someone who wouldn't particularly use that end it's a little confusing!)

You’re making the mistake of thinking that their maternal role is the only role of the human female breast but in fact they serve a dual role: maternal and sexual. The female breasts of other primates – even when lactating - do not come close to matching the enlarged spherical shape the human female possesses. This alone suggests that there is something other than maternal purposes at play. This is bolstered by the fact that smaller breasted women have an easier time breastfeeding than larger breasted women – the larger the breast, the greater the chance of smothering the child. This would seem counter intuitive to their maternal role. The answer probably lies in the fact that the males of our ancient ancestors (when we were still moving around on all fours) got their sex signaling from the female’s buttocks – same as other primates. When we stood upright a new female sex signaling device was needed and the female breasts developed to essentially be a buttocks mimic. Boobs (I’m getting tired of saying human female breasts over and over) have milk producing glands to feed infants – that is true – but they don’t have to stick out the way they do (thanks to a generous helping of fatty tissue) to accomplish that. They stick out in front like that for one simple reason – to attract male sexual attention. Can anybody seriously argue that they don’t perform this task very well?

For the record, breasts do nothing for me. In fact, too big is a huge turn-off for me because it makes someone look unbalanced. I mean they are on women, super, but I can't really say that one specific aesthetic quality equals attraction to me. Maybe eyes and expressions? I've never known someone vain enough to be attracted to a woman just for her bosom. Then again, I don't make a habit of knowing vain people, so I could be wrong. shrugs I don't know. No disrespect to the OP or any consequential posts.
