Status: offline 		There are a lot of practical issues around pregnancy. I'd be happy to share info as a former midwife with experience in pregnancy and BDSM. Give me until later this evening, though -- I've had my profile turned off for a few days, and I'll need to turn it back on to receive/send mail. Is there something -specific- you wanted to know about?

It's one of the only threads I've ever started, and I did it because a thread with a similar title got superugly.  Your question brings out strong emotions in people, almost like a debate about abortion.  The bottom line though -- both as far as I'm concerned, and what most people say on this thread -- is that you need to be honest with your doctor, and find our directly from your doc what is and is not ok for your own situation.  In general, having sex and engaging in light impact play is fine.  There will be people who disagree with me, but oh well.

Status: offline 		It varies from person to person. Ask your doctor, and yes they do need to know. Obviously avoid the abdomen. Otherwise, it depends on how you feel and how far along you are.
