Is it true that there are two school buses in the US, the yellow bus and the shortbus ?

Anyways, the film Shortbus by John Cameron Mitchell, has anyone seen it ?

If so, what did you think about it ?

I saw it a few months ago for the first time, and to say, it did make an impression on me, so much so, I now seek it for myself, for I would like to explore that movie more.

One thing is certain though, I cannot look at a Jackson Pollack painting ever again without thinking of shortbus.

For the most part it is true. When I was in school, the kids with problems all rode the little, yellow bus and they got out of school 30 minutes before the rest of us. We all rode the large yellow buses. The problem kids also had classes on the other end of the school away from us.

I'm not familiar with this film, but the term "shortbus" over here generally is used to poke fun at people, as the "shortbus" was the carrier of mentally challenged and slow kids.

Great movie. I got it from "Netflix" after seeing clips of it on an "Indie Sex" documentary.......luci
