Cool one, Treasure!   I'm going to spread that one ;)

---------------

Our Reptilian Masters let these things flourish to hide "the truth" from us ;)

Area 51 contains aliens and alien artifacts.

Area 53 is even more dangerous: http://qualteam.tripod.com/area53confidentialfiles/

The government is here to help us.

These are a few of my favorites.

I believe there is a conspiracy by oil companies to keep all cars from getting good mileage so they can sell more oil/gas.

I think there is a conspiracy to keep us dependent on fossil fuels, if not in exactly that way.  That's the only conspiracy theory I believe.

I think some people like conspiracy theories because it makes them feel better to believe that someone somewhere is in control - Even if that person happens to be an enemy.

I heard an interesting story about the reptilians once. If Lacetra exists, I'd really like to meet her. She sounds really nice actually, and very sensible. I can imageine her sitting in a sun-cave underground, singing to her little saurian children while working on a thesis on why humans are so silly.
I've often wondered what would happen if everyone else let subbies run the planet. I think we'd have peace within a week and we'd all be very nice to each other. There is only one SMALL problem. Subbies get very silly around tall dark and sinister people who tell us what to do. This would naturally reintroduce conflict :)

Another one, though I'm not terribly familiar with it, is about Nibiru and the Anunnaki.

In 2012 a planet called Nibiru/Planet-X may reek real havoc on our planet as it passes through our inner solar system.

Of course, NASA and the governments of the world are keeping this from us.

Well, it was a masochistic thing to do to present that sidebar to history, as I knew I would get slammed for one thing or another.

Dude, your theory about slave prisons...the Gov and Police send out contracts, they have a vendor's list, of suppliers of various goods. Companies, corporations, private shops, bid on the contracts, and must meet certain criteria to be accepted to the list.

Get real, the shoes and boots are from a contract supplier, as is other stuff, a mulitude of things.....there is no slave boot or shoe factory in the prisons. This was my febble point with my little 'Diatribe' even to the WW2 war and the concentration camps, which were privately owned, contracted out to the state, and the stuff they needed for the final solution was contracted out. The lowest bidder won the contract, however, the contractor had to meet the states requirements.

It was a tid bit of historical fact, in an attempt to briefly illustrate how something works.

Policemen buy their own uniforms, guns, leather etc. All items must meet state requirements, some even have their uniforms custom tailored, Badges are suppled from a private company which specializes in metal fabrications, awards, coins casting, etc. Bought by the scantioned dept.

There are no slave prisons cranking out police leather, guns, badges etc.

Food in prisons are from private food purveyors.....you think they have slave farms growing the animals and veggies. The lowest bidder wins the contract, as per state requirements. It's about business of prisons and...money.

Your post is 1% fact, 99% lies.

Moderator, sorry for my last yanked post, I apologize.

I agree with you. AS a matter of fact, some many years ago, I was reading a Popular science magazine, and therin was an advert for a carburation system you can build yourself and get 80 + miles per gallon. I sent off for the booklet, it arrived, and had the detailed patent drawings and explanations, along with some articles, and statements of the inventor and his history in an attempt to get it into the hands of the auto giants.

Well, they all knew about his invention, did nothing about it, froze him out, ridiculized him, and made his life miserable.

Who knows, it may have been real, all the dates and patent numbers were on the docs, the articles were copies out of newspapers

Oh, another conspiracy theory, much on the lines of pharmaceutical labs creating the ills we suffer to create and aid sales, but this time with the ever expanding communications and computer world ;

Viruses, those things that seem to be there to annoy us, thousands of them, evolving all the time. Who creates these things that are so quickly pounced on by the software developers and rended dead for all those that buy into their product, Hmmm, I wonder.

Could it be the communications viruses we daily learn about are in fact creations of software developers for them to create a solution to and sell to others. If not for sale, then the fun of it, create something and let it go, maybe mutate on the web and come back a puzzle to solve for perhaps personal kudos or kudos within the community.

I have a crazy idea for a conspiracy theory but no rational person would believe it. It centers on some unearthly being who creates a universe in 7 days, the being places one man in this universe and later creates a woman from a rib. I'm sure it would be possible to weave in crazyness about the being sending their human child down to the world, that child being put to death and rising from death. I know, I know - its too far fetched to believe. Of course , if anyone did believe it then the really scary thing would be if a group of powerful people got hold of the conspiracy theory, persuaded others it was true and then used the stories as an excuse for suppressing the sexuality of some people, stopping women being in control of their own bodies and, this bit is really scary, made it an excuse for going to war and killing other people.

Rule, have you not got any conspiracy theories to add ?

Long haul truckers seem to listen to those theories on radio all night.  They frequently are an encyclopedia of conspiracy theories.

Someone mentioned virus ? Or ills or something ?

I think it alot easier to believe that those who sell anti-virus software are somehow encouraging the development of new computer virii. I find it hard to believe that people with the skill to program, ACTUALLY program would spend their time writing programs for free with the express purpose of screwing people's computers up. As they say ; Follow the money.

Thinking of the issues in such a thing, why are all virii written for Windows based PCs ? If you cou,d screw up other OSes the possibility for extortion would be great with alot of businesses using something other than Windows. The banks do not use Windows for anything important, nor does the government or even Microsoft ! But the logic remains, it is easier to get a dollar from a million people than to get a million from one. So millions of people spend money on anti-virus software and the theory applies no doubt.

Part of the problem with conspiracy theories is that they are not all theories, but how to know which. We can't even effectively define it. But there is one thing about people. They think everyone is the same as them. Therefore when you have good people who would never think of enriching themselves at the cost of others, they find it hard to understand that there are those who would. Even Freud made that mistake. (more on that some other time)

I needed a good laugh today! Reminded me of one of those "how to keep an idiot occupied" jokes. I so agree with your concept, and appreciate the giggle it gave me. Thanks!
