Status: offline 		No F***ING way would I voluntarily let anyone put anything in me there.  I've had a catheter put in me while I was awake & that was quite bad enough!  Plus, if you do do put anything in someone's urethra, you have to be careful about sterile procedure or it can cause massive urinary tract infections.....also VERY uncomfortable and VERY bad!!!

Owwwwwooooooo! lol

I had a male nurse who was absolutely wonderful.  On the morning I was to be discharged, he came in and said it was time to take out the catheter.....but if I preferred a female nurse, it was ok.  I could detect a little bit of sheepishness in his voice, but it was fairly dim in the room, so I just let my knees drop and said, "Go for it!"  He laughed and it was out in a snap......literally.
