I was thinking more of a headbutt to the face....much more staisfiing ....in my view anyway, but I'm a little warped

Ohhhhhh what movie was that....

"No one wins with a headbutt!"

maybe not...but it will make for a more satisfying loss [:)]

:) I would tell them cheerfully IN GROUP that no one should stay in a place they thought was run poorly and suggest they start there own where things could be run the way they think it should.  Then I would say.. oh.. you tried that already didn't you? Perhaps the next one would be better.

FR, after read thru

Okay, I went & looked at your TNG group on FetLife, OP, read thru the threads, & I didn't see what you're talking about. I saw some vigorous discussion about the goals & workings of the group, but it seemed pretty reasonable to me . . . . . . FYI . . . . . I did not see personal attacks or other inappropriate behavior . . . .

The only thing it's doing really is, leaveing my members feeling attacked.

This is the important part.  As an organizer, your responsibility is to the group.  You have the right to do what is best for the group, regardless of what the exes may think or say about it.  Offer up a warning -- if there is any flaming or attacking of the group or any of its members, anyone who does so will be removed.  Tell all of your members that if anyone contacts them outside the group and makes them feel uncomfortable or threatened, to let you or your sister know and you'll remove the offending parties.

Make it a blanket policy for all members.  Then, if the badmouthing continues, you can remove the people doing it.  After all, you gave them fair warning.  It's up to them to act like adults.  I run or help organize several groups and this is how I've always handled this type of situation.  It works and your members will respect you for putting their safety and well-being first.
