i am looking for the One who can bridge me past a frustrating beginning into D/s and into a healthy situation from a caring, loving Dom who will adore me for who i am and where i am right now and confidently push me into a better place.

I am a newish dom (1 sub for 3 years) I like the idea of treating a sub as special and cherished. I don't like treating someone like dirt. I feel really powerful when a sub gives themselves over to me willingly. Have you found that many doms are not really caring. The sub I played with was also my serious girlfriend until recently.

I think there is a mixture of Doms who adore their subs and give back to us everything we hope for and there are Those who abuse the power we give Them. It definitely requires time and patience to pick-out the sincere from the careless. Perhaps once I have more experience, I can better answer your question.
